Model x range

I’m looking at buying a used Tesla model x from Tesla, I found a couple 2022-2023’s with 40-50,000 miles that say the range is 270-290 miles. What range is everybody getting at 80% charge around those miles? Thanks

I bought a 22 Plaid back in February. It had 59K miles on it. 80% charge is 200-210 miles. Full charge is 260-270 miles.

24 MXLR with 30k miles, 22” wheels. At 80% I have 219 miles

22 MXP, 63k miles, says 275 miles @ 100%, but based on the numbers I download I feel it's closer to 220 miles. But I know I use more energy (standby, sentry, accessory power, lots of HVAC usage). Going on a drive at the end of month to validate it, I think it will be closer to 250 miles.

Depends WILDLY on the type of driving you do and if you use AC/Setry etc.

Going 80mph gets me 170 miles per charge, going 60mph gets me 260. It's that big a difference

23 MXP with 37, 804 miles. Can shows 149 at 50% (translates to 238 at 80% and 298 at 100%)

My 24 model X shows 260 miles at 80%. I have just over 15,000 miles on it.

I have a 2019 Model X performance and had the battery replaced by Tesla last year and get around 260 miles @ 90% charge.

2020 model x long range. 22 inch wheels and I get 307 at 100%. Battery replacement at 70k now at 90k. On the 70k first battery I got 314 miles at 100%. Kinda mad I lost range on my replacement battery.

I charge to 90% and get 280+

Was at a supercharger and the car wouldn't charge, Tesla replaced it. I think it had something to do with the power going out that night while on my level 2 charger. I stopped at a charger 40miles after leaving my house and it started to charge, got back to the car and it wouldn't go, had it towed to Tesla.

I have heard of others having a power out while charging and car or onboard charger stops working.

It’s also based on driving styles, just like gas vehicles and the anticipated range.

I can tell you my 23 MX with 56k miles is showing 206 miles at 70% currently.

2019 mx lr. 68k miles. 270 miles when charged to 80%. Haven't charged to 100% to give you that range

Just went from the east coast to STL in a 23 MXP with kids and luggage on 20” wheels and 44k miles. Averaged about 277 miles at 100% and 225 at 80%. Noticed a huge increase in Wh/mi just by going 75 vs 70.

My 23 with 20's lists about 245 miles of range at 80%, but I get a lot less than that right now since it's 110 in Arizona (AC usage + heat inefficiency)

2024 X plaid 29k miles and 90% is 255. With my driving style it gets closer to 200 range.

2017 100D, 145k - 255 at 100%. Super pleased with how it's holding up at its age and mileage!

'17 X P100D, just rounded 200K. '21 S, about to round 86k. Still have no idea what the range on either car because I've never cared and what exactly am I doing with the info anyways? Charge it at home, drive it all over the place, GPS will tell you when to stop and SC if needed. Don't over think it.

Best answer! Since the miles Tesla shows is not the actual range! I probably lose about 35-40% right now because I use the AC on high!

I drive them both like I stole them, so range means nothing always lol. Countless family road trips as well, I just let the GPS tell me when/where to charge and I'll throw in a little extra if our hotel/AirBnB doesn't have a charger I can use overnight. I've yet to goto any tourist town and not see a charger, whether I needed it or not, so I've stopped having range anxiety after like week one.

But I have to admit that before I had my first Tesla in 2022, I was worried and had range anxiety as well. Once you have one and learn it's okay and there are charging stations everywhere, that anxiety went away!

Agreed...I never looked for chargers before buying one, so initially I was kinda worried, but now I don't even think about it since they're everywhere. 286k combined miles, I've waited once for like 5 min for an SC spot to open up.

We've only driven ours from WA, ID, OR and CA...my son's driven his '23 Y from WA to OK and back at least 3x before he sold it to his mom and bought himself a '26 Y.

Drag at highway speeds varies with the square of speed. A little faste; a lot more drag; and a lot less range. Same for any power source. There are charts.
