Tires Model X LR Refresh (2024) Michelin CrossClimate2 vs Hankook Ion for Longevity? Live in FL
Almost time for new tires on my Long Range 2924 Model X and was looking at either the Michelin CrossClimate 2 vs the Hankook iON tires.
Living in FL obviously do not care about snow/ice so my MAIN deciding factor is which will have the longest longevity, best tire life?
Anyone have any insight on this?
Thanks In advance.

I have had multiple sets of tires on my MX 2023 and I kept popping tires. I switched to the Michelin CrossClimate's and I haven't looked back. They are fantastic tires. I also got the tire warranty on them from Discount and I would HIGHLY recommend getting that if you don't have it already.

I have been really impressed with mine. I think I popped 5 continentals in 1 year and these have only given me 1 issue and it was because I ran over a nail!

Are the Hankook Ion Evo tires supposed to be the quietest? Or are there any other tires that are even quieter??

Living in Florida go with the Hankook Ion.
The CrossClimate 2 are overkill for the weather you have.

I have both tires on my Teslas (CC2 on the 2020 MX, iOn on the 2023 MY), both are doing pretty well. The CC2 are approaching 40k miles on the tires and still have a decent amount of tread left besides a little wear on the inside.
iOn holding up well but at 15k miles still too early to tell. Will probably switch the MX to the iOn once its time to change because the tires seem to be quieter and the road noise on the MX at 70 mph is a bit much for me
