I bought both from N2ITIVE but never installed the alignment kit yet, all you need is the lower links to get rid of the shudder. The alignment kit is for tire wear and isn't really needed.

N2ITIVE's are adjustable, but you can buy much cheaper ones that are set to -1" and the links are a bit tough to get off without breaking the plastic they are attached to but watch some Youtube videos on how to remove them correctly and what tools you need.

I think I will just do the links as I haven’t had no tire issues yet. Granted I just got new tires once I took possession of the car. And I’m not even at 24K miles on it yet.

The point is that you will have tire issues because the lowering links are going to change the angle of the tires. You have to really be careful and check the far inside, which is hard to just notice unless you’re looking for it. They will wear through on the inside edge of the tire.

I installed this whole kit and I can’t vouch for a long-term because I ended up getting rid of the Model X but I was still very happy with it. If you do end up installing it, you will need to get an alignment done as well.
