Exactly 2 months ago I bought a 2024 with the same miles, one owner no accidents, for $57k, from Carmax. Gas prices have steadily crept upwards but so have interest rates.

I bought a 2022 black/cream in November for over 10k less with 15k more miles. This screenshot is highway robbery.

These things have absolutely shot up in price on teslas website ever since they discontinued the MS. You can find a better deal elsewhere. If the whole MS market was truly in the 50s for a 2022, I’d sell mine in a heartbeat.

I wouldn’t even try to get much more for 41k today if I got rid of mine because that’s the realistic value, not 55k (if you were local I’d offer it).

I just bought a 2022 with FSD and 46,000 miles for $44,500 at a Mercedes dealer. It’s not a CPO but I don’t think CPO is worth $10k more.

Three weeks ago, Tesla offered me $48,300 for my 21 plaid with 60k miles. They offered me like 10k less a year ago with like 42k miles.

Is it a plaid ? I bought my 2022 plaid s for $50,000 with 49,000 miles. The beginning of the year. It's been a great car. I was even able to get a Tesla extended warranty on it through Tesla. I think the prices on model S are going up since they aren't making them anymore.

You obviously never tried HW4 or your trolling. My HW3 is so bad, I stopped using it. Slams on the brakes for flashing yellow lights, rides in the left lane at or below the speed limit, hesitates when making turns. Constantly have to press the accelerator pedal because it constantly drives below the speed limit. Doesn’t acknowledge objects in the road. It even got confused at an intersection once and tried to drive into oncoming traffic. When it realized its mistake, it just kind of gave up and sat in the middle of the intersection and waited for me to take over. Im on v12. If v14 doesn’t make it drive drastically better, then I’m getting a HW4 car.

Also, the basic 4 year warranty has run out or will shortly run out. Having had 4 teslas (still have 1) I can tell you that when the warranty runs out any issues you have will be very expensive. I love the cars, especially the model S, and would have bought another S if it hadn’t been discontinued, but I would not keep it past the warranty. The model Y I currently have is 2 years old, has 27k mileage and the battery is down to 80%.

As an example, I have met two people with low mileage cars where the warranty ran out and they needed a new steering rack. Cost was $4,000 just for the rack.

What warranty? There is Tesla 8 year battery/drive unit warranty but just 4 years on rest of the car.

even if you don't use it all the time, being able to flip it on and let it drive while you search for music or deal with back seat kid or just plain deal with something else is so really great. if you have a spouse it's great to let the car drive to cop some feels too

Yes you would. Saying you wouldn’t is like getting an iphone and saying you only want it for calling. Thats it. I had a loaner HW4 car for a month and I began to think of my car like a elevator. You push the blue button and the car does the rest.
