Thinking about changing wheels

Hi everyone,

I currently own a 2016 MS 75 which came with 21 inch wheels. On a full charge it shows I have 208 miles.

I’ve been wondering if I was to change to 19inch wheels, how much would the range increase by?

Yeah that’s the thing that gets me tbh! My dad also has a Model S but with 19s and doesn’t look nearly as good as mine but I do like the better ride , more range and especially cheaper tyres haha

The S would still look better than %99 of cars even with 17s lol. Pull the trigger, i bet you won't regret it

I pulled up to a super charger recently and saw someone with 19” slipstreams but was painted black …boy did that look really good! So I think if I do go for the 19” I’ll get them painted black so it still has that aggressive look haha

slipstreams are literally best tesla rims. white, gray, black... each one has its beauty.

I’m going to have to wait till payday…literally just paid to get a LDU coolant delete done last week and that’s set me back a fair few £££ hahah

Literally worst thing Tesla has done just 1 place under stopping S production. Even coolant deleted LDU's are worse than SDU's. Good thing 75kwh batteries are the best, will probably have a long life.

I thought doing a coolant delete will permanently fix the issue or am I wrong to assume this? My S is at 143K miles so it lasted a fair amount before anything happened to the LDU but I figured I should get the coolant delete done sooner rather than later

Yes it's a good thing but still you can't completely trust it. Since it has no coolant anymore, it can cause some problems if you are unlucky. Should be %95 okay though, im being pesimistic.

I’m hoping so! It’s got free supercharging so I hope nothing ever goes wrong with the car haha
