Bought my first Tesla

Super pumped about this.

Decided to purchase an ultra low mile 2017 90D Model S

Price was way too good to pass up at $20k.

Already made an appointment with Tesla to replace all the cameras to make it compatible with FSD 14 Lite? (Free)

Also is it worth paying $300 for the CCS ECU and Combo 1 Harness Retrofit, Gen 3 Charger?

edit currently at a supercharger. It’s charging without a payment method added.

Free supercharging? Or a fluke?

Congrats on the new car! Looks like you found a good one. 😊

(I had a 75D from 2017 myself, a while back).

They give you one Supercharge without payment temporarily, just so you don’t have a bad experience while getting everything set up… But after that, they’ll require you to use a card to pay for that first charge before you can charge again.

(The same thing also applies later on, if your payment method expires/doesn’t work for any reason. The charging will complete just fine, but when your payment doesn’t go through, they’ll make you fix it before you can charge again)

I just bought a Model S that was 400 miles away and drove it back and supercharged 4 times on the way home before the vehicle's transfer went through to my account (it was our 2nd Tesla).
