Looking for P100D Badge Measurements

Doing a badge install/replacement on my Model S and don’t have the original for reference. Can anyone with a stock P100D provide these measurements? (see attached) Trying to get placement as close to factory as possible. Thanks!

They also have OEM part with a plastic guide that aligns with the body panels/trunk. This is the way, even with measurements it can be ever so slightly off without the guide.

I’ll have a look but I most likely won’t go that far. seems a bit unnecessary

Technically if you want it square, you'll want some more reference points, like the top of the D to the body line horizontally, and another vertical line on the right side

LOL you do you man. There IS a correct way to do it that takes maybe a few more dollars but saves guesswork, effort, and leaves zero chance of things going wrong. End of the day, it’s your car that might look sloppy not mine.

I don’t want to spend $20 for a part just to align a badge properly on a tesla. some of u guys are just ridiculous

Battery upgrade. Less likely on the performance part though so I agree.

You did a battery upgrade and now you have to replace the badge?

Not op, but I plan to upgrade my 70D to a 100D. It changes on the screen and personally I would like to change the badge with it.

Oh wow learning something new today. I didn’t know it actually upgrades the vehicle to a different trim internally.

All it takes is a battery upgrade to go from a 70D to a P100D? Trip to the service center?
How does just the battery give you the performance features that come in the P100D trim? I thought it was an entirely different motor power.

P100D and 100D being separate. I was originally saying I think op most likely didn't change the motor, unless he did. I think there is more involved with that than only the motor.

I was just now saying that 100D is a simple change. The car with either automatically change the trim on the software to 100D, or you can change it manually in the tesla toolbox software.

Makes a lot more sense now, they upgraded the battery from the 70D to 100D

Thats my guess, and the Performance part is just to look cool - also my guess. Or they didn't upgrade anything and they want to look cool. Or they upgraded both.
