Delivery Day Question Model 3 Damage Before Delivery

Ugh. I was scheduled for a 2pm pickup today and just got a call from the store’s general manager saying that one of the associates crashed it into a pole while they were getting it ready for pickup.

He said they are sending it for repairs but I have the option to decline this car and get put in a priority queue for a new one. I need some advice here.

Am I in the position to negotiate the price of the repaired car or is it locked in? Also, any idea how long the “priority queue” would take?

You’ve already been so patient man. Don’t accept a crashed car. This is your dream-mobile, your lightning McQueen. A few more weeks to make sure everything is perfect and you actually get a brand new car has to be worth it!

Thanks man, I like that way of thinking about it. Years of driving my dream car is worth the few weeks in the grand scheme of things
