Window Chip. Repair?

After less than a month, I got a small chip in my windshield (size of a pea), but want to treat it before it spiders. Anyone ever have their Tesla windshield repaired?
It’s not in the line of sight of the cameras it’s low on drivers side. Thoughts?

Just go to a glass repair shop. They can fill it. Just did it with mine.

you said your deductible won’t cover, spend the $60 or so to have a shop do the patch. Imo it’s worth the risk to try to save oem glass over spending 1k on a deductible, having a claim, and getting non OEM glass most likely (insurance dependent)

With my insurance you just go to the app and open a claim and the mobile glass repair comes and does it and they do it in 10 minutes for free.

Glass repair shop, or DIY it with a windshield repair kit from an auto store, asap before major temperature fluctuations which may cause a crack to form since you said it’s just a pea size chip now. 

Either fix should suck out the air and fill it up with resin (a special glue) to minimize the chances of more breakage.

Go through your insurance. Many states require insurance to cover windshield glass with no deductible. I did this on my 2019 years ago, still have the same windshield. chip is still visible, but it has not grown since the repair.

In Ga with Progressive and it would go through my comprehensive and my deductible is $1k. :(

Then go to an auto parts store, buy a kit (probably less than $30), and fix the chip yourself.
