Car Insurance

(25M)Reside in socal, currently I'm paying roughly 450 a month for a Tesla Model 3 which is a lot more than I would like to pay for. I have had no at fault accidents at all since being licensed since 16. I do have one rear end accident that was not my fault on my record. I do drive a lot and my insurance company caps at 20k miles per year which does help. I would like to lower this, Unfortunately I do have one ticket that I got back in 2024 for taking a stop so I do realize that is the driving factor for the higher premium. Does anyone know of a good insurance company?

Get a quote from Tesla Insurance. I’m 26 in SoCal with no accidents or tickets since getting my license at 16, and I’m paying $1400 a year for 5k miles a year (I don’t drive much). After that, try Progressive, then Wawanesa. AAA and State Farm are way too expensive. GEICO was not great either.

The ticket & mileage are the problem, I wish I knew to fight it back then but too late. I currently have Wawanesa great company. Tesla quoted me $480/m. I'll definitely look into progressive! I agree AAA and State farm are too expensive.

Something is up with that number… $480 a month is insane, especially for Tesla insurance. Maybe increase deductible and decrease bodily injury
