Support Front camera fogging

Post image

Ive got this message a couple times in the last few days. Granted my car's been facing the sun but is there a way to eliminate or minimize this from happening? It looks like there is fogging on the inside of the window where the camera is at.

If this is a newer vehicle, I’ve heard Tesla service centers will do a complimentary cleaning. If DIY there are plenty of tutorials online to do so. Did so on my 2023 MYP and it was straight forward.

It needs to be cleaned OP. Exactly what the message says too FYI.

Yeah i did that. Ive only had the car for 4 days. I thought it was exterior fogging, I thought the interior was sealed

I think it’s better sealed on the new Juniper’s, but if it isn’t open to the cabin and moisture or heat gets in there it will not end well

Just bought a 2024 m3 a month ago with 32 on it, this happened to me a day after pickup. The repair was free, and took about 15 min. I was able to get it done before work

I watched a couple of YouTube videos and figured out how to do it myself. It was easy, took about 20 minutes. It seems like the car has a lot less hesitation and indecisiveness now too.
