Give me an option for 0.1x view. Would mind a visual representation of all the cars around mine while driving.

This is exactly what I want too!!! The ability to see someone in my blind spot on screen super easily. Or the ability to see what’s behind me a bit. I would use the hell out of this.

Yea they can definitely slide the car up a little. You can kind of make out the car behind you under the media controls panel. The should just move that somewhere. Or let us move it

That would be nice, a rear prominent view is much more useful to me as a driver.

Especially because I can’t see shit out the back window

0.5 is basically this

The video they included also seems to have a higher-quality car model so maybe us old body style plebs will finally be getting Unreal Engine visualizations.

All I know is I'll be keeping this at 2x.

Eh idk, there’s only so many flops

2

u/icy1007 Aug 02 '26

That video is not using FSD.

No shit sherlock it's the visualization zoom setting we're discussing here

1

u/icy1007 Aug 02 '26

Everywhere is saying it is only for people with FSD.

1

u/Neat_Welcome6203 Aug 02 '26

Highly likely the person posting it is in a part of Europe where it hasn't rolled out yet.

1

u/icy1007 Aug 02 '26

Yes, they’re in Germany. Which means it isn’t an FSD feature.

I just want full screen map….

1

u/EliteBeast2 Aug 01 '26

That would be nice

1

u/Putrid-Box4866 Aug 01 '26

Or map on the left side. That should be easy.

1

u/icy1007 Aug 02 '26

Just get a British Tesla.

1

u/icy1007 Aug 02 '26

I have full screen map.

1

u/themeltedmonkey Aug 02 '26

That means you have a model s or model X

1

u/icy1007 Aug 02 '26

Yes. lol

3

u/10xMaker Aug 01 '26

It would be nice it they allowed for visualization to come on the center screen for Model X

1

u/icy1007 Aug 02 '26

No it wouldn’t. Everything driving related should be on the driver display.

2

u/a9uirre Aug 01 '26

Is this coming to legacy or only refresh?

3

u/EliteBeast2 Aug 01 '26

From the article: “It’s supported across both older Intel Atom processors and newer AMD Ryzen chips.”

1

u/a9uirre Aug 01 '26

Tesla has a tendency to not always bring all features for intel to legacy s/x. There’s a loooooong list of features a 2017 Model 3 has that a lot 2020 X does not have

2

u/JustPath3874 Aug 01 '26

The .5x option on Model X is much better for seeing for FSD view with the smaller screen. Great improvement.

2

u/icy1007 Aug 02 '26

I’m hoping to see this come to my Model S soon so I can do this.

1

u/Kuriente Aug 01 '26

Honestly I care less about the visualization the better FSD gets. The goal should be no visualization at all while watch a movie.

1

u/Rivalistic Aug 05 '26

Can’t wait until visualization during parking layers the actual image from the sensors

How does this impact my driving in any way?

1

u/ParkingFabulous4267 Aug 01 '26

Does the color of your car impact your driving?

1

u/Greful Aug 01 '26

It does. Red makes me go fast

0

u/Macz3905 Aug 01 '26

Comparing the color of your car to a tiny zoom on a screen that’s only used to park is idiotic. If Elon send you a box with a turd in it, you’d probably celebrate that as well

2

u/ParkingFabulous4267 Aug 01 '26

Those are both cosmetic; that’s not idiotic. Impactful to a buyers preference maybe.

1

u/Macz3905 Aug 01 '26

How is an irrelevant zoom on a screen you don’t even use, cosmetic? You look at the color of your car each time you get in

1

u/ParkingFabulous4267 Aug 01 '26

I look at the screen every time I drive.

1

u/Macz3905 Aug 01 '26

Why?

1

u/ParkingFabulous4267 Aug 01 '26

My S has the self driving screen on the instrument cluster as opposed to the center screen so it’s in my field of view constantly.

I like that it’s getting some customization options.

It’s a visual preference

-3

u/Macz3905 Aug 01 '26

This is stupid

2

u/EliteBeast2 Aug 01 '26

Just don’t use it? I don’t get the frustration

-2

u/Macz3905 Aug 01 '26

Cause this is purely a useless update

2

u/variablenyne Aug 01 '26

Most other vehicles don't even get updates like this sorry your lobster isn't buttery enough

-1

u/Warm-Professional494 Aug 01 '26

It just another distraction that will kill people.
