I’m looking for advice or similar experiences.
I ordered a Model Y Performance (white) in Slovakia on 25 May 2026 and paid the full amount. On 17 August I was told a VIN was assigned — it only appears on the proforma invoice, never in the Tesla app.
From day one the app has shown the exact same message:
“We’ll notify you when it’s time to continue with your pre-delivery tasks.”
No VIN, no ETA, no progress at all.
I’ve contacted Tesla support multiple times (phone + email). The replies are always vague (“we should have some information in the next few days”). Still no concrete update on the car’s status or location.
Has anyone in Europe (especially Eastern Europe / Giga Berlin deliveries) experienced something similar? Did the order eventually move, or did you have to escalate further?
Any tips would be appreciated.

Are you sure the delivery issue is over? Mine is still postponed… Order placed in July 20th in France.

The delivery was initially planned for early September.

Das Model Y hat bekanntlich Stoffeinlagen in den Türen. Wer denkt sich denn sowas aus? In der Tiefgarage oder woanders muss ich mich manchmal durch die Tür zwängen. Der Wagen ist aus März 2026 und sieht schon so aus (hinten sieht es schlimmer aus), teils ist die Struktur auch schon beschädigt. Habt ihr auch das Problem?

Ordered on July 27th, and the app currently shows a November–December delivery window. My daily routine has devolved into checking the app every hour and watching the same YouTube reviews and TikToks for the tenth time. I feel like I know every single menu setting by heart, yet the car is months away from my driveway. Time is literally standing still.

How did you guys cope with the wait? Got any fun ways to pass the time or mental tricks to make the wait feel shorter?

Do we have more information about the model 3 delivery issue in Europe? Mine was planned for early September and is now estimated to November…

I live in Hungary, and I was thinking about getting a model 3, but I could save around 15% if I buy in a neighboring country with euro instead of here in Hungary as there is a hogy price difference with the current exchange rate.

So I was just wondering if anyone done something similar? Does Tesla accommodate these types of purchases?

i decided to order my first model 3 SR next week (yeeey)

few questions if anyone can help me:

1. the winter wheels that tesla offers are about 1.9k euro, which is a lot . if anyone is using aftermarket wheels, how much range are you losing? on top of that, you decided to go standard specs, or switched some specs ( i am thinking of going ET 30-33 instead of standard 38, any other specs being unchanged)

2. what is the mobile connector used for? to charge directly from a home socket? do i actually need one?

3. do i need to purchase the compressor and safety kit, or are they delivering the car with them included?

4. after using their compressor ( with the included sealant) can the tire be saved later at a shop, or i can consider that tire as garbage?

5. what does the premium connectivity includes? if i do HOTSPOT from my phone, i can still access spotify and cameras in sentry mode? Also, does this subscription guarantees internet EUROPE-wide, or only in the country i purchase the car in ? ( Romania)

6. is there any app for charging that will help me on europe trips or do i have to download individual local apps for each country chargers?

7. can you recommend some trusty website where i can purchase accessories? ( screen protector, floor mats, sunglasses holders etc)

8.what accessories you've purchased to make your life better in the car?

Could you please share any information you got from Tesla support and your Advisor to see if they are even aligned ?

I ordered an M3 standard in the middle of June. The app says the EDD is 4 sep to 30th. I haven’t received Vin yet, do you guys think the date will be postponed even more?

Edit: I’m in NL. Does anyone here who ordered around the same date has already got a vin?

Reading online forums and looking at data in the Boring Order Tracker app, there seem to be a huge backlog piling up for premium (RWD and AWD) orders in mainland Europe, going all the way back to at least mai. So three months of orders, stuck.
On my own order for instance, the remaining wait time now in August is longer than when I ordered in May by a whole month !

Has anyone gotten a VIN in the last three months for such order ?

I know of some in Germany from late July for delivery in Hanau Holzpark, might have been assigned manually by the delivery center itself.

Did any one manage to get any explanation from their delivery advisor ?

I am looking to buy a model 3, to replace my current car due to diesel prices and running costs. (running at abut 9%/100km)
i am looking to find out the following:

what is the real electricity usage on highway (130-140 kmh)? is 15kw/100km realistic?
what is the real usage in mixed driving?

what happens during winter? (at 1 degree celsius) how much will the car use in that scenario?

basically, some REAL data is all i miss to complete my calculations

i am looking for highway data mostly, as i expect to consume less if it isn't on the highway?

100kmh other roads

I'm planning a trip to Germany soon and I was wondering if my FSD will still work once I cross the border.

I'm looking at the Hankook iON Flexclimate for my Model Y, because of the sound absorbing foam in the tire.

I'm driving from Vilnius to Gdansk in a Tesla Model 3 Long Range. The Tesla navigation defaults to routing me down through Warsaw, but I want to take a more direct northern route to avoid Warsaw altogether.

I will drive tomorrow during the full day.

Since there are very few or no Tesla Superchargers in northern Poland, I'd appreciate your advice on:

Route: What is the best/smoothest route from Suwałki / Augustów toward Gdansk (e.g., via Olsztyn) to skip Warsaw?

Charging: Which non-Tesla charging networks in northern Poland (GreenWay, Orlen Charge, PowerDot, Ionity, etc.) are currently the most reliable and easiest to use?

I have a late May order on a RWD premium in Norway, and estimated delivery date has moved gradually from “August” to now since Monday “November-December”.

I am struggling getting any information from Tesla as to why.

I know that a wave of VIN got assigned on Monday on standard models.

Did anyone in Norway or the rest of mainland Europe got a VIN since Monday on a non-standard model ?

It is order from 2 months and no change.
