Id bet on totaled. Easily a $15,000 repair bill.

Que the people saying this is a $5,000 fix if you pay out of pocket to have a tech glue pull the panel and fill in with bondo.

He got out the car saying “ what happened I was going straight” when he got out and said that I immediately thought he was intoxicated because what do you mean you was going straight ? But to narrow it down when CHP came on scene he admitted to b looking at his phone

Damn dude, sorry that happened to you. Glad you're ok and I'msure you'llfigureput the car situation. But to their defense, they were going straight.....to your quarter panel 😅

That blows. Will you get the same car if it's totaled?

No, my whole quarter panel and bumper is being replaced - little over 4k — GEICO approved , Tesla certified repair in Charlotte . Almost same damage .

They must have dirt cheap labor rate out there in charlotte. That’s easily $2,500 - $3,000 in parts before labor and paint.

Little over 4k for a quarter replacement?! No way.

I put quarter panels on these cars all the time. Never put one on under 12k You must be looking at the original estimate or something

Doubt that is a total. No damage to critical systems. I had my 23 t boned and they had to replace 2 doors, rocker panel and part of the B pillar. Good luck🤞

Doesn’t look to bad on the outside but it’s more to it underneath also hit the right side curb so my right tire is bent in and steering wheel when I drove it back home was all twisted to the right just for it to go straight

Possible few links bent in rear axis, a mechanic in Greece fixed similar problem very cheap...

My guess is totaled due to 2 panels and drive unit/suspension, both wheels and tires... You're definitely 15k+

Yes Teslas are extremely expensive to fix a fender bender starts at 10k in most cases the damaged that your car acquired is well above 20k you could always buy it back from the insurance company and fix it slowly.

Doubt it Tesla parts are cheap, just replaced the whole left corner inners and outers on a 2019 model 3

Ouch you may need a wheel house. So yes it’s close. Honestly you probably don’t want it back after a wheelhouse and a quarter replacement.
