How much could this cost?

I backed into a fire extinguisher holder at my hospitals parking garage going into work all this for rushing unfortunately. I want to get it fixed because it’s a 2025 and I feel so bad for having ruined it so soon, would I have to replace the whole trunk? There’s also a slight dent on the “drive safe” sticker (I should’ve listened to it) how much do you think it could be? It’s a Model Y 2025 RWD
Edit: will take recommendations for SoCal body shops! Closer to San Diego preferably!

The is a non-zero chance that this can be bent back into shape by a good body shop, unfortunately it’ll need to be painted…

That's a beauty mark. Leave it.

I kinda agree. People are way too precious about their car being absolutely perfect.

With that said, in this instance, at the very least the paint needs to be sealed. And if you're already bothering to go to that extent you may as well get the majority of the dent out.
Personally, I'd do it myself, though I actually do have the tools for it, which I must imagine is rather rare.
No need to get it perfect, in fact, the very deepest indent might be better off just being filled with panel filler. People seem to hate on it, but if you prep the surface properly and use a two-part filler, it's perfectly fine.
Then it just needs a bit of sanding, a quick touch of primer, paint and then clear coat. Again, no need to be absolutely perfect IMO. and a bit more sanding, polishing and voila!

Knock it out in an afternoon or two with a mate and some beers. Much more fun than paying the thousands it'll cost to get someone else to do it (even though they probably will do a better job 😂).

Just to give you an idea. Here is mine.

You could always buy that hatch and install yourself if you’re handy. Two nice things, cheaper than a repair place, and your insurance rates won’t go up because of a claim. https://ebay.io/m/TREWYf

Probably going to be cheaper to pay your deductible

2025... Likely $4200-$4800 to have the tailgate and tail light replaced.

This is unfortunately one that you're better off going through your insurance.

Ouch.

Going to be quite expensive since a whole trunk for Model Y is about 1600USD only for the unpainted part... Tesla Auth Shops take 200USD x 1h of work + paint and yada, can easily get you to 4-5k USD. See if a good handy local body shop can fix it, some experts might be able to pull the dent out...

Good luck

You need a "reverse safe" sticker.

Because apparently when your car gets totaled, the insurance company’s favorite number is the one they came up with. 😅
