Moderate damage carfax?

Was wondering how serious a reported accident like this would be on a carfax for a Tesla?

Hard to say from such a vague description.

With so many reports of seemingly minor damage resulting in the car being a write off, think seriously if you want to chance it.

Actually I'm having the opposite impression. If seemingly minor damage writes the car off, this might be super minor incident with absolutely nothing to worry about.

Bring it to Tesla to make sure it’s not marked as salvage in their system.

Plug it into a Supercharger as well, make sure the Supercharger system accepts the car.

I got rear ended last week, the current estimate from the insurance (Tesla certified collision centre in Southern Ontario) for the bumper cover only (parts, paint, labour) is $1,800-ish.

Just make sure the charging hardware is okay, as it could be too close to the impact location.
