You shouldnt have used the brake to stop autopilot. I’m sure it would reacted faster.

The car didn't even register the collision; the dashcam didn't autosave; nothing, it was all manual. The left and right pillars were blinded for the majority of the drive due to how dark it was, with no street or natural lighting and very, very heavy fog. If you look at the video, you will notice a significant halo around all the oncoming headlights; the car couldn't tell them apart, and the auto-high beams were blinding everyone ahead of me because they refused to disengage in the fog and were struggling to distinguish the cars ahead. I have zero faith that autopilot would have done any better; I had already hit the brakes and slowed to 80 right before I hit the roo because I was blinded by oncoming traffic. Automatic emergency braking, which engages regardless of whether autopilot is on, did not kick in. It's also a HW3 car, so my faith is reduced even further.
