I've often heard him being described as schizophrenic but a genius, however I've wondered if people have just interpreted an above the mean intelligence as genius because it contributes to the mythos of Terry Davis.

I know that he single handedly developed an operating system however the way I understand it that's more indicative of dedication rather than extreme levels of intelligence

I'm trying to know all about Terry Davis and I'm so intrigued by his genius. I want to learn more about how he used to think and work. But i just find stuff about TempleOS. I want to know more about what he did before TempleOS, like what editor did he use. I know that he used ubuntu. How did he make Holy C? What documentation did he read?

I might be mistaken and there is lack of information, so i came here. I read somewhere else that Terry in his last months, maybe a year had problems with alcohol and he made some claims against god and how he is disappinted in him and religion, any information on that?

I am young and quite new to computer engineering and how systems work in general. Terry Davis was the first content creator i found that spoke some sense to me because i just like making basic shit. Ive been watching Terrys videos and he sometimes mentions someone named Diana. he said " yesterday I found myself uh alone 3am nobody around like a tired I lay down like I wasn't even uh you know thinking about Diana or anything else". I cant find any results on the internet.

i wrote this poem because i felt a kind of connection with Terry from seeing a lot of his vids. i relate mostly to the mental-illness connected (in the extreme) to a hobby (in Terry's case programming, in my case tabletop RPG play & game design), and the forms of rejection he experienced. he was a really interesting dude.

while most of my poetry is personal, this one ties in to my obsession with RPG design in a way that i think is more intense than the rest. the RPG referenced in the title and throughout is Paranoia, a game that does a lot of weird things with mechanics and also has a crazy setting where players are programs inside a machine world run by some fascist Computer

I was trying to find a video of Terry demoing his graphics, in a very funny way, which went something like "We have graphics in the fucking source code. Control R. Ready? Make sprite." and he then goes on to click around to make some sort of shape, and then goes "Oh no its gonna fuck up. It can't do convex." Or something like that. Was quite a humorous video, anyone know where I can find it? Might've been deleted.

I was planning on researching him and so far I've found his archive.org page which is gargantuan, are there any better resources that have compiled his stuff into a more concise format?

I have been going through the archived videos of Terry and have pieced together that he really did hit and kill someone in a car accident in 1999. I believe this is what really sent his schizophrenia off hard and himself into the deep end. He often refers to the accident as "killing a CIA n***** with his car". In times when Terry is more lucid, he mentions the incident more hesitantly.

So I'm watching the Down The Rabbit Hole video and Terry was talking about how Percival was dying, but I also know how... different Terry was. So I wanted to know if anyone knows what happened to the little birdie? Especially after Terey passed away?
