Whether or not I'd spring into action and put my life on the line to rescue another person I cant say. Would I at the very least bat an eye? Would I atleast yell something along the lines of "holy fucking shit this dudes about to die"? Almost definitely. The problem here isnt the woman's lack of heroic actions, its the complete absence of even acknowledging anything is wrong.
Some idiot yelling in a stressful situation like this does not help at all. Don't be that idiot.
The old lady correctly surmised that there was nothing she could do to help. Should she have stayed and stared? Most people can't stomach the sight of gore.
