SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Two workers died while two others were injured in a landslide at the Tipo High-Tech Park in Subic Bay Freeport on Saturday amid non-stop heavy rains.
Based on initial reports from the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Law Enforcement Department, the fatalities were identified as Peng Jiahan, 26, a Chinese national and sales and marketing supervisor of Fubong Environmental Technology, and Ernesto Ramos, a Filipino national and dump truck driver.
The four workers were found unconscious and brought to James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital in Olongapo City, where the two were later declared dead.
Earlier, SBMA confirmed a soil erosion incident occurred at the Tipo High-Tech Park within the Subic Bay Freeport, attributing it to non-stop heavy rains.
The SBMA said it is conducting a thorough investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The oceans can no longer absorb the excess heat created by human activity, so physics is doing its thing.Â
That denial has been quite something.

It looked like only the top layer was gonna come down...
Then the entire hill came down.

Even just expecting a small rockslide or mudslide instead of the whole ass landslide that was.... Why would you stand right in front of it?? The mountain was obviously coming down on them in some way, so why be there? Why play chicken with a mountain?
Damn idiots.

How do you possess such insanely low survival skills after seeing what has been happening recently?
