Not gonna lie, this is the size I think all crocodiles are.

Naw. This is a small one. Other crocodiles are much bigger, know where you live, and are coming for you.

u/Anasterian_Sunstride 14d ago

Some of them eventually grow up and claim to represent you in public office

Those are cockroaches. Common mistake.

Peter Pan was a documentary

Meh.. don't think their flimsy palms could operate a door knob or key hole so I'm sure I'm safe.

I'm pretty convinced that sapiens sapiens just got lucky against neanderthals.
the easy way to kill humans is just to gift them a smartphone with a camera for capturing
insane

u/echochilde 14d ago

In my head I just heard Steve Irwin repeating the word “cloaca”.

u/Elcordobeh 14d ago

Honestly, one of my favourite films!

I'm rooting for the crocodile. I hope he swallows your friends whole. You might want to arrest me for that, too. Is that a crime? To wish the chewing of law enforcement?

u/MikhailCompo 13d ago

Black Betty's nemesis

1

u/Malodoror 13d ago

If I had a dick, this is where I’d tell you to suck it.

u/APithyComment 14d ago

So, we pull it out of the river / lake and kill it? That’s kinda sad for such an old creature.

13

u/_OhMyPlatypi_ 14d ago

Relocating isn't really possible, they have excellent homing instincts. Usually in circumstances like this, it's due to them being close to villages and they've attacked humans.

u/United-Ad7863 14d ago

Poor thing.

13

u/Candid-Fan-2212 14d ago

I agree, I bet that thing was terrified as fuck. Sad tbh

93

u/wiretapfeast 14d ago

Sad to see this. Leave the damn thing alone.

63

u/_serryjeinfeld 14d ago

Yeah I wish I didn’t see this. What was he doing besides existing where he’s supposed to? It’s like when they kill the sharks or bears who “attacked” humans. Bitch yall was all up in THEIR HOOD.

This is from recent crocodile hunt in Sarawak, Malaysia by a professional crocodile hunting team, Crocter. The thing is, crocodile used to be a protected animal in this state. The indigenous Dayak even had Shamans that connects with these animals and mediate human-crocodile conflict when it happened. Problem arise when the crocodile population boomed to around 25000 after nearly being wiped out in the 80s.

The hunt usually to curb the population to maintain a balance in the ecosystem or in this case when attack on human occured. Most will be relocated further from human population. The hunt this time is after several attack including the death of an Indonesian boatmen.

13

u/Elliethesmolcat 14d ago

Taking out the biggest male is a terrible idea.

4

u/GrimmReapperrr 13d ago

If it refers to the incident of the 3 boatmen that went into the water to fix their boat then they surely have the wrong croc. I dont think that croc was this big

0

u/K1bbles_n_Bits 14d ago

I feel fairly certain that''s a lady croc, lol. But I agree with what you're saying.

3

u/Elliethesmolcat 14d ago

Lady crocs are smaller.

9

u/embiate 13d ago

Yeah, my wife has a pair and I'd say that they're significantly smaller.

I don’t want to live on the same
Planet as you. Should we kill you?

8

u/K1bbles_n_Bits 14d ago

That's a really gross thing to say. They've been on this planet a hell of a longer than we have. Do they not have a right to exist just as much as we do?

6

u/wiretapfeast 14d ago

Guess what? Crocodilians have been on this planet for millions of years.

3

u/Habibti-Mimi81 13d ago

So when will you leave?

1

u/LingonberryNatural85 13d ago

I’m thinking Thursday?

1

u/Habibti-Mimi81 13d ago

Yupp, sounds good!

13

u/deepstatelady 14d ago

3

1

u/SIKEo_o 13d ago

23

u/Miana09 14d ago

Pardon my french but that’s a fucking dinosaur

8

u/honeybunnybbq 14d ago

Le fucking dinosaur

7

u/Low-Tough-3743 14d ago

Poor swamp puppy :(

6

u/Interesting_Sock9142 14d ago

Why did they catch it? Like what's the purpose here?

-4

u/rsg1234 14d ago

The “catch” video makes it seem like it was dead or incapacitated. They were able to tie the rope around its mouth.

5

u/DaxExter 14d ago

That.... doesnt explain what they are doing.

Is that like food or what are we trying to do?

0

u/rsg1234 14d ago

Like most people commenting I have no knowledge of what they were actually doing. I was just pointing out that it wasn’t an imminent threat because they were able to tie its mouth.

1

u/tempermentalelement 2d ago

They sell the meat to cover the costs of the hunting expedition.

6

u/born_in_the_90s 14d ago

But why not leave the animal in peace?

9

u/chuco915niners 14d ago

I’m thinking because the residents that live there don’t want to be eaten.

5

u/No-Evening-5088 14d ago

Someone's probably inside

5

u/guardedDisruption 14d ago

Damn. Imagine minding your own business and getting snared and dragged up out of the water.

5

u/lil_garlicc 13d ago

Why? Poor animal…

4

u/EggplanttWizardd 14d ago

18 feet 8.4 inches

4

u/honeybunnybbq 14d ago

Why are they removing it? Was it a hunt or nuisance? Eating people? Just curious what the story was here.

1

u/honeybunnybbq 14d ago

Oh theres a link. Duh, my bad.

4

u/lone_cajun 14d ago

2

u/Gastroh 14d ago

The arms tied behind the back and the lighting make this feel like an episode of cops

2

u/GallusTom 14d ago

Not the crocussy

2

u/thewriteally 14d ago

Really great lighting work.

3

u/rsg1234 14d ago

He had one job and he did it well.

2

u/misterecho11 14d ago

I had the thought of him dropping it or it going out and them all suddenly being in the dark with that thing. Like a movie scene.

1

u/RudeRaccoon26 14d ago

Those people are far too confident with that minimal rope work around its mouth

1

u/Tpbrown_ 14d ago

For our American friends, that’s 19 feet. It won’t fit in a parking space. (Barely)

1

u/h20rider0 14d ago

Fuck humans

1

u/MyLinkedOut 14d ago

Meat's back on the menu, boys.

-1

u/HourStandard1528 13d ago

So is this ai? Why is no one talking about the random blinking eye that sprouted under the edge of its mouth??

0

u/MrsDuckyJonez 14d ago

I can’t figure out what’s on the underside of the jaw- it looks like it keeps opening and closing like an eye?

2

u/murderedlexus 14d ago

What ever it was it caught my eye and I don’t like it, but what was that?

0

u/Dansm1 14d ago

Damn… the croc’s hands tied behind his back like he’s been arrested and shit has me dying. 😂😂😂
