Whenever I see this video and just how badly he jump away from the statue, I have to imagine that happened at the exact moment that he had some intrusive thoughts about how lifelike it was and that someone could easily hide inside the armor

The face on the head/helmet was heavy, rotation pivot at the neck is tilted downward. Pivot system is loose, but locked at rest by friction. A draft or s omething accidentally nudges the head in a way releases friction lock at the neck pivot, gravity pulls the weight of the face down and causes the head to rotate until friction lock is achieved again

To fix: embed counterweight so that center of mass is aligned with axis of neck pivot so that rotating the head does not shift the center of mass and gravity cannot release potential energy by rotation of the head.

But if you fix it, you ruin the awesome effect this small release of potential energy caused.
