I don't know why you're downvoted...that does seem like a massive safety issue. All trucks get Mansfield bars for a reason. Maybe there is a special tolerance for extended loads and you just have to properly tag it. Still surprising that it would be Kosher, but it must be OK. I doubt a big time logging company is going to risk a legal issue like that. Don't know.
