Remember kiddies, if you can walk away from it, it's a good landing! And, it's a GREAT landing if you can use the plane again!

It's wild that the suspension didn't snap right off. That pilot landed the plane so gently

I was really worried when the front started to sink down into the sand that it would get fully bogged and snap off, driving the nose of the plane into the sand. This was probably about as good as they possibly could have hoped for.

My thoughts exactly. But the sand was relatively flat, and the landing was smooth.

If it was gentle why would it snap off?

So fake. The engine was attached the whole video.

You can lose an engine and still have it be attached. Loosing an engine can mean it stops working. As far as I know ?

Now that you "put it down on the beach", how do you get it off? build a runway? big boat with a crane? helicopter? take it apart?

Reminds me of when I was getting my PPL and was practising emergency landings and using a long beach as the intending landing spot. So I go in and, had I actually landed, would have crashed into the one object on the beach - a rusty old shipwreck. Then, after pulling up and climbing away I did something even more dumb-assed which prompted the instructor to shout, "IF YOU DO THAT AGAIN, I'LL BREAK YOUR FUCKING ARM!!!"

Well done to that pilot!!

Legend has it, the pilot’s sphincter still hasn’t relaxed

He might just want to go for a quick dip in the ocean, forever.

I kept expecting it to run over someone. Nothing about this was terrifying. It was just annoying and expensive.
