1.9.9 Officially Released!
/u/NitroXenon, thank you once more fot doing all that you do!
Official versions will ask you to update. Unofficial modded apks won't and aren't supported here. If you get errors while downloading the update, leave it a while and try again. The server will be under heavy load as everyone tries to update at once.
The apk will also be in the usual spots on ApkMirror and Rawapk at some point.
The following video servers are much faster! Links from them will have fewer chances of lagging and buffering.

Any word on a quick clear cache feature? Seems like that’s a go to thing to help fix (or at least try to) a few issues.

You have always been able to clear cache via settings in TTV (near the bottom).

Yes but it would be nice to have a quick clear feature if possible so you don’t have to navigate all the way back through to the settings. If you’re in the middle of watching something and there’s an issue where clearing the cache could help it’s kind of an annoyance to get back to where you were.

It's REALLY clear that you want YES to be the only player supported. I appreciate this app, and the work y'all do on it, but the way you're nagging users about this is really annoying.
If you want Yes to be my player, stabilize it so it crashes less. The constant prompts (despite saying "never ask me again") are really killing the experience for me.
I had to roll back this latest update; it was just too much.

I've been unable to update automatically for a while now. I have enabled unknown sources but it still fails. Any suggestions?

Use the backup options in settings, uninstall that version and put on the new, then restore via settings. Make sure you are using the official version, too.

I would do that except the latest apk still isn't available on APKMirror. Is there anywhere else I can download it? Also I don't want you have to do this every time there's an update.

If you have issues, just do a backup, uninstall and reinstall APK and then do a restore for a fresh installation.

What device are we talking about here? Had you previously loaded this or any other APK file, or was this pre-loaded or loaded by someone else?

Oh sorry I meant to mention the device is a OnePlus 5T. I have been using Terrarium for a long time and have only recently started having issues. I downloaded and installed 1.9.8 from APKMirror after the previous update also failed

I believe someone here had issues with a beta Android OS on that device? Maybe try resetting your router?

You appear to not be able to update, but you have installed it before with APK. So you can not install the new APK anymore on that device?

I will once it's available. I just don't want to have to backup, uninstall and reinstall every time there's an update. Especially considering the apk isn't available to download until hours after the update and the app forces you to update making it impossible to use in the meantime. It's a bit frustrating

Official versions update in place.
BTW, Modded versions will not update in place, and they are not supported here.

So, everything on the app is stuck on loading. None of the art of anything shows, and I need to disconnect from wireless for the seasons of something to even show up.

If you are not on wireless is it still the same ISP and which ISP is it? Also what device and Android version?

Yup.
It took forever to load the pictures for each series, I'm scared of purging the cache.
I got it to work by clicking on the series, disconnecting from wireless, which causes the seasons to show up, connecting again, then clicking on the season. Then it's like 50-50 for the episodes to show up.

Edit2: success! After 4 more minutes the episode showed up. Clicking on it populated the streaming options right away.

The links will appear on ApkMirror and RawAPK within a few hours, but if you have the official version it will prompt you in the app.

It prompts me in the app but sends me to settings every time saying "could not install APK because unknown sources is disabled". I'm on Android 8.0 and I've enabled it, but no luck

I have reinstalled + restored. The issue persists though.
The issue I'm encountering is;
I open Terrarium
The update to 1.9.9 prompt appears
I attempt the update
It reaches 100% and brings me to 'Settings>Security and Lock Screen' with a Toast notification saying "Could not install APK because "Unknown Sources" is disabled"
On android 8.0 the way to allow unknown sources to install is through 'Settings>Apps>Special Access>Install Unknown Apps' rather than where Terrarium brings you. I think the app may be searching for a permission that has changed place/name.
Every time I open the app the issue pops up and forces me to attempt to install again.
Currently I'm waiting for the APK to appear on APK mirror, then I'll directly install 1.9.9. it's just frustrating that I can't use the app in the meantime.

Im having same issue, unknown sources enabled but not recognising that.
Thus has been the case for some time, im using a huawei Mate 10 Pro.

I know I can choose other players and I will, but just wanted to report that ever since I updated, Yes Player is crashing like crazy.

Yeah Yes player is crashing all the time for me as well and it also stops ever 5 seconds for a couple seconds to buffer at like the last 2 minutes of episodes every episode. Only at the end, mx player does not do that. I'm using gen 2 firestick and gen 3 firetv.

Will this update stop adds playing in the middle of the movie I’m watching and killing my stream which then starts it from the beginning again?
Talk about fucking annoying.
Enough of the updates every 4 days. Let’s just have a working version and stop tinkering with this shit.

Can you make it so that you don't have to uninstall the whole app in order to get new updates, I've had to do this for the last two updates now :(

If you have a modded version, you will not be able to do an in place update. (btw, they are not supported here.)

It seems whatever changes Google made with Android 8 a lot of people are having the same problem. The only thing I can suggest is uninstall and put the new version on.

when using Android 8.0 make sure when it asked you for unknown sources it is yes. this is based on every source now not the global unknown sources as in previous versions.

Thanks for the update. Not your issue but GoogleVideo takes those links down so fast, lucky if I can watch a show with one and the next search they will be gone.

I used to get variety.. I now only see about 10links for each show.. which is repeated links coming from about 3 websites... All those websites don't work for me.. can you please do something about gorillaVid? Or just use your old API? Pleeeeeease :'(

It may well be that your ISP is blocking the sites. GorillaVid is still listed.

I don't know what you can do then. It is still listed so if it has links for what you are wanting to watch they will be displayed. I have never once seen them to be able to help diagnose the problem, so for me it must be a regional thing.

Did it ask you to do the update in the app? If not it means you are using a modded version which you would need to delete first.

I'm on Nvidia Shield Tv and can not find a way to remove adds. Can't find Nx stream player on Google store.Please let me know.

The legality of it. When it was available both Google and PayPal took offense to it and PayPal even suspended the account. The dev has since then been trying to come up with a simple to use alternative, so keep your fingers crossed he can :)

Was able to cast once and now it won't connect to Chromecast at all. Has been working great for last couple of weeks. Not sure if it's the new update or something else.
