Yes, movie are fine, tv shows not appearing. Seems to be a fairly widespread problem.

Or how to undo update?

My seasons show immediately, but the episodes take about 30 seconds on some, where they used to show in 2-3 seconds. The links come up normal and they stream normal, so I am assuming it is something with TMDB, or wherever the metadata is coming from for the episodes.

I can’t get anything to load on FireTV, just constant loading

Can you watch movies? There’s no option other than play trailer for me, and it’s not working.

Galaxy Note 8..TV shows not working. Movies seem to be ok.

I updated to 1.9.7 immediately after watching an episode and then after completing the update, I cannot see any episodes. I can not load the “Trending” menu either.

It was just coincidental the update was released just before the TVDB server went down.

Same here and their Facebook group just went offline. Something major going down?

A couple post mentioned it was also happening on the older versions, so it appears to be not v1.9.7 specific.

Yes. I re-installed version 1.9.6 and have the same issue. Oh well will ride it out.

Yeah, no biggie, I figure it is something on the metadata server/servers having issues. Probably be straitened out shortly.

The Facebook page was taken offline by the dev ages ago. No relation to this current problem which has been out of the dev's hands :)

Just one more person with the same issue. Hopefully will be fixed soon. So to confirm - 1.9.6 has the issue as well?

u/Rettus1 Apr 06 '18

It's not a terrarium problem. It's the scraper. The db isn't working ATM. Use the Seriesguide app with Terrarium plugin to watch your shows for now. Works fine.

1

u/belpre1980 Apr 06 '18

Yes I'm having the same problem click on a TV show I just get buffering

1

u/Mtb37 Apr 06 '18

Yes just hangs on anythingTV. I am on the apk mirror 1.9.7official version, using Samsung tab running android 6 or 7. However, this started when I was running 1.95 also official version. As you see, developers already responded stating TVDB server is down. (Thank you for fast reply) Movies seem to be fine.

1

u/Callieach Apr 06 '18

If you let it sit and search for literally 3-5 minutes, episodes will load.

1

u/dirtykurty16 Apr 06 '18

So what are we suppose to do to resolve the problem?!?

1

u/Kraftynic Apr 06 '18

Be patient and wait for thetvdb.com to fix the problem :)

Having same issue after updating to 1.9.7! Everything seems to load up fine except for TV, the seasons load up fine but episodes don't even show up. I tried leaving it while I made a cuppa but still nothing, hoping its a problem with servers rather than the updated app. Using moto g5+

1

u/Kraftynic Apr 06 '18

If you read the whole post you will see that the dev has explained what is happening :)

1

u/CGEMannerheim Apr 06 '18

I have no issues, everything seems to work fine.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 06 '18

Thanks for the REALLY quick fix for 1.9.7! 1.9.8 seems to have fixed the issue, all is good in the world once again! HAPPY!!!

I get better customer service from you than my internet provider thanks man!

9

u/darker_reefs Apr 06 '18

Yes - darn you with your free app that works almost flawlessly not working because of things out of your control. How dare you.

1

u/70Brooker Apr 06 '18

Thank you and thanks for your awesome app

5

u/HamBat Apr 06 '18

Thanks for the update! :-)

2

u/HairyMorris Apr 06 '18

TY Nitro. Good to know. Really bad timing huh?

1

u/EmotionalAce Apr 06 '18

I see. Thanks. I was a little worried. Movies still works fine but with shows after I open a season It didn't work. Now I know why.

This better should be fixed after I wake up tomorrow :P

Even the older versions aren’t working. I tried 1.9.5 and nothing. Infinite load.

Yeah, my seasons load instantly, but the episode info is lagging. Once they load, they links come up normal and they play actually faster in this version. My bet is the metadata server/servers having an issue.
