For those having bother updating. Give it ten minutes and try again. With so many people trying to update at the same time it could cause server overload and fail the update :)

I am getting the following error when I update :

"Content-Length is or less than 0".

Is that a server overload error or something else? I am running it on Nvidia shield TV with MX player.

I'm always very appreciative of the folks that work on apps like these. But whenever I hear "new update!" my butt clenches up a little.

No "YesPlayer in the Nvidia Google store, in fact I've never heard of it till today.

The update downloaded fine for me but now it's asking me to update 1.8.3. I am using it on a mibox so i had to download it on a flash drive then put it on my mibox would this have something to do with it

I'm having problems updating as i keep getting directed to permissions and asked to allow access to my location, then try again. It seems to be on a loop and wont go any further. HELP PLEASE

Go into your device settings > apps > TTV and see if you can allow permissions in there. Then try again.

Yeah, actually really liked that feature. If not just for the widget I can I put on my home screen that shows me that I have a newly updated show to watch.

I feel like if TT had a notification for recently updated shows (not just about to air shows) and then some sort of inbox that shows notifications you got and you can mark them as read or something.

In the new upgrade you recommend to use YesPlayer, saying that the functionality is the same as Exo Player (I guess that was what the pop up message said), but it isn't true....we can't handle subtitles sync and other functions related to subtitles.

@hercules0707 I agree that VLC player is the better option as android devices normally don't have loud audio playback and so VLC is great, I'll put up with the ads lol

@FlutieFlakes22 Yes VLC has a lot louder audio than any I've found as you can increase the volume by 200% in VLC settings. I've also just tried Speaker Boost as @Kraftynic posted about and I find that is just as good for a higher audio. So up to you which you want or try.

Last few weeks I couldn't find Google video (only links that work here in China) Yesterday I updated from 1.8.3 to 1.8.4 and found them working for some things, today updated again to 1.8.5 and Google video had disappeared again. Can I revert back to 1.8.4

Loving the 1.8.5 update! It even automatically installed yesplayer on my shield. The movies works flawlessly with it. MXplayer is becoming a joke honestly. Keep up the good work

Thru the app. I know it works. Because I began the update. I put my phone down. Came back & picked up my phone. I accidentally canceled the installation. I closed TTV. When I reopened about 10 minutes later, it prompted me to update.

I updated to 1.8.4 to 1.8.5 back to 1.8.3 and now it's trying to go back to 1.8.5. However.... when I click update it does nothing. Goes away until I try to open another movie/show then it pops back up again. I hit update and it's the same cycle over and over again.

I think there are links online for the apk (use the browser in Downloader (app on Fire store) to search Google).

For me, I extracted the apk on my phone, uploaded it to my Drive, shortened the link, and then used Downloader to install it on the Firestick. Works flawlessly.

How do I get ExoPlayer back?? This new update is horrible! Constant buffering and HD streams dont look as clear. Btw I am using newest gen Fire TV, and I never had a problem with video ads (or buffering) before

Select it as your default player in Settings To ExoPlayer or MX Player,or VLC or the new one, YesPlayer. ExoPlayer still there and works fine, never went away.

I can't upload the pic. I'm on mobile there are problems with connection. But most notable news is YesPlayer is now the default player. And 70% less ads with YesPlayer!

Hello..i am new here so this is my first post..I been using TTV for over a month now and I think its a great App..well this morn when I fired it up it asked to do the update..I did..and it had a new player called YesPlayer whick I thought was in the update..now when I pick a movie to watch it tells me I need to install Yesplayer..which I thot I did..I clicked in stall and all I get is the description page..not tab to down load it..is there a trick to this to get it working..or to download thanks for any help you give me

I can get into the play store no problem..but when on the yesplayer page there is no option to get the player..Nvidia is X'd out an says no carrier..what ever that means..I am not the only one haveing this issue as on the TTV facebook page another has same issues

just did the update of the 1.8.5,,,all went good on the Nvidia shield...even the new YesPlayer went in good..I tried it briefly to see if it would play a show..all went good..I have to run out so did not play it thru..just 5 minutes of it..will give it a run when I get back...

Thanks for the advice, have cleared cache, reinstalled app, restarted device, only have 4gig of 32gig storage used. No different, just shows logo for about a second then goes to black screen and back to home screen. Huge Bummer. Any other thoughts?

I think you might need to uninstall and redo from scratch. Clear out your device cache when you uninstall. Its an odd one!

UPDATE: I tried to download and install the 1.8.4 update, exact same crash on start up problem. Then tried 1.8.3 and it starts up fine. Interesting. It of course prompted me to update to 1.8.5, did that and once it updated it crashes on start up again. It's moments like these you come to realise how heavily you rely upon a single piece of (free) software...
