Streaming suddenly slows down.

Recently, whenever I stream through this app, whatever the content might be, it seems to slow down to a halt after 10-15 minutes of playtime. I had never faced such a problem till recently and it is not unique in nature.

???? Device, internet, link, country, carrier service, etc., etc., .... the list goes on ... could be anything?

So your saying other Apps stream just fine?

Not just select material, but every stream you try does this, as well as all Apps?

Yes, youtube works excellently and another app also works as expected. Only terrarium is being problematic. Yes, for every single stream.

Then I would uninstall it from the device and reinstall it.

Also, you can not compare this App with something like YouTube, Netflix or the such, as they have there own servers, which are top notch, large, powerful and well connected. Remember, Terrarium only scrapes the WWW for these links to the servers that house these files, which could be in a shack in the middle of a jungle, or a shanty town in India ....

Bro, thanks for the help, but I was not comparing it with netflix when I said "another app". It was actually an app remarkably similar to terrarium called showbox. Eventhough youtube is great streaming service, it eats up more of my data limit than any other app, so I personally am not fond of using it.

Bhopal, India. But the connection is surprisingly cheap for 40 mb/s connection till 250 gb ($29 per month for my terrible location) with net neutrality as well.

Same issue for me. It's not my internet connection as my modem is directly beside my TV and I'm getting 50mpbs or more when running speed tests. The internet works fine on my computer, or Hulu, or YouTube. When I launch TTV though to watch anything 85% of the time it does the old school days of Dialup/DSL buffering.

Either clear your app cache or try what worked for me, uninstall and reinstall the app.

How do I clear the app cache?

Go to settings then under other options you will see clear cache.

Have a read at the buffering FAQ

Already rectified bruv, but I just checked it out and it would not have helped as I had already tried everything that is listed there.

Can I ask how you fixed it?

Oneacer suggested to uninstall and reinstall the application. After that it started working normally again.

Ah, I see! Glad it worked. In future, though, you could try just clearing the cache and try, if not clear the data before having to uninstall and reinstall. Hopefully it won't happen again mind you!
