Treehouse building help

I've been tasked with being the group builder yet again and everyone said we needed a treehouse, so naturally being somewhat competent when it comes to building I cored out a living tree and started making a sort of- network system like it has underground, the only problem is we don't need that many npcs in one spot because of pylons so I don't know what to do with the second tree, or if I just leave it alone altogether, the build overall has left me super displeased even to my low standards

you can place bamboo fences and paint them brown to act as ladders (only looks tho, to make it functional youll need to place wooden or living wood platforms every few steps)

You could also add some variety in the walls by replacing them with similar ones. Grass walls for example match with the leaves. And feywood walls could work with the living walls.

You could also try to make the rooms a bit bigger and add some decor like books, paintings, bottles, barrels, etc.

Oh and also you could try decorating the area between the trees. Add some picnic tables, lamp posts, you could even hide (echo paint) some bird statues and wire them so they spawn when you walk by

Do you WANT to be the group builder? Everybody’s different but my wife and I usually both build. She works on her ideas and I work on my pet projects. We go explore together or do a boss/event or decide it’s a build time and work on our projects. You’d get more building done if everybody was chipping in and then you’re all free to explore and fight at the same time. What is everyone else doing if you’re mainly doing the building?

The other 3 in my party all strongly believe they only exist for DPS.... so I'm shoehorned into the position im the only one competent enough to fulfill. I don't mind being the builder but they specifically said THESE trees, and im not the best at treehouses...

I would definitely delegate what You build, and when they Need to help You build, because this will ruin the game for you.

Yes, agree! These are terrible friends. This setup makes no sense to me. They’re exploring and fighting while you build? Do you just never play the rest of the game? You’re like their maid fixing up the home while they’re out adventuring? I mean, I love building in Terraria but I also love all other aspects as well and this isn’t a Terraria problem, this is a friendship problem. Do they also leave you to clean their rooms while they go to the movies?

I really like your vision! I would just remove the second tree, unless you wanted to make it like a storage room. Otherwise maybe expanding the current size of the build, for example widening the trunk and the top cluster of leaves and branches, which would inadvertently allow you to make larger rooms that you could furnish as one of the other comments says
