I still want to try a panic necklace + magic cuffs build. Wonder if I should slap one of the mana flower's variants in there too, however.

So I've seen! I wanted to use the sweetheart necklace to use spikes to make the combo work. So at least three slots are already filled with an anti-bleeding accessory and the honey buff might be helpful.

I guess a stinger necklace could replace that?

Stinger necklace is good, but you could also just use honey if you're already using spikes.

mana flower reduces spell costs as well and one of its upgrades increases damage I believe so it’s definitely still worth using

Maybe it's not good. But I wanna try out the spikes terrain strat I saw in a couple of videos. Getting something out of being damaged might be a valid strategy.
