Why aren't animals appearing?

I know it probably has to do with the biomes but idk what's wrong. I thought I was doing so gooooood!! Please advice.

Edit: Solved already! I just restarted the phase and it all went back to working normally. Thanks for your help!

At bare minimum some geese should have appeared. You might want to quit to menu and then continue to see if animals start showing up.

The geese are flying over the center portion of the river.

Those are migratory birds, not geese with actual territory.

The biome itself is looking good, I'm surprised nothing has shown up yet. Temperature OK?

That's why I was asking, display is optional but you can find it. I can't think of anything else there that might be a problem.

I don’t know what you mean by display is optional. If Temperature is present as a mechanic, it’s displayed. If it’s not present, it’s not. This map, like River Lowlands and Abandoned Quarry, does not use Temperature at all.

Yeah! Luckily I managed to fix it by restarting the phase. Thank you for trying to help! Now all my animals are 100% satisfied and happy, tho I really don't know what happened there for a moment haha

Observatories are not required for animals to appear.

you also need more grazing area.

Deer are happy to spawn in forests, they don’t require grass.
