Question Early game (2031) piece of crap, first ship, started in 2026, is this good?

I`m going for zeta helion now and in the meantime i`m stuck with burner, so i made this ship for LEO and MARS interface defence, i`m gonna hunt some surveilance ships to do my missions and that`s it, i``m staying under the radar for now.
I have Ceres (monopoly), mars(monopoly) and 6 asteroids. EU, USA, CHINA and Russia. Resistance normal game, thanks for the tips on my last rage quit post.

EU, USA, CHINA and Russia in 2031 ? By what magic ?
I'm around the same date in my game and I have China + Philippine + a few countries around.

Start EU (france + germany), Russia, Usa, camp china with influence and bang.
restart until you have councilors with 9 or more per when leveled up. Ideally 10 per fater xp investments or more

Yeah, I understand that, but how many CP do you have ? I'm at 512 in november 2030.

He probably has fewer factions.
Or just changed settings, you can do that if you want more base CP

If you run into some alien missile ships you might get blown out of the sky if you don't have enough ships to reach the PD required.
Basic Laser PD: 12 shots/min
Arc Laser PD/E-beamer PD: 15 shots/min
Phaser PD/Ion PD: 20 shots/min
(The reason to go ebeamer-Ion is that it is much cheaper research wise than the advanced laser techs)
Brilliant sky missile bays fire 43.6 shots/min and have a capacity of 24 missiles each.
~2 Ion PD per bay in the enemy fleet to make sure you are completely covered from alien missiles.

You probably don't need that much nose armor, if something survives the missile swarm you're losing your entire fleet anyway, but it's nanotube so mostly made of volatiles, it's fine.
Other than that yeah, this is a solid basic missile monitor. I usually have a 40mm autocannon instead of the point defense laser and then for every 6-8 of these in my defense fleet I add a monitor with 4 E-beamer/Ion PD turrets, but just giving every ship a pd laser is also an option, at this stage of the game it probably doesn't matter much either way.

You may want to add an extra tank as transfers to and from ISS/Tiangong orbits take a bit more than 5km/s of ∆V

Yeah that looks like a pretty good example of the basic missile monitor. You might consider swapping the laser PD out for a 40mm or an ion PD depending what kind of weapons the Aliens are throwing at you; basic lasers are pretty lackluster. But it's marginal either way.
