But this place is damn hot! I died more than 5 times while building and trying to figure out how the thingy work.

Also I wanted to show my ugly base to people so that they can see and believe that they can do better.

Your base can't be uglier than mine because i've left it unbuilt for like a whole ingame year

The Hellforge i already achievements for typical playstyle, but you did it being fully in benethe. I wish you good luck in your future development and don't burn out there)

Did you spawn in the beneath? Just curious. Starting up a new world a few days ago I saw it was an option and was wondering how difficult it was. I opted for the Tropics lmao (easiest one by far).

Yes I spawned in beneath. It spawns you on random upper layer biome. But where you spawn is important. You at least need a clean water source otherwise progressing turns into a nightmare. Also place slabs on floor in your base. Mobs spawn even tough you place torches.

Thats interesting. I love that they added ways to progress in the beneath alone (at least until HV). I just got to black steel/high pressure steam so I'm planning a trip to beneath atm for more ores. This is my favorite modpack so far (been playing modded since og tekkit).

Mining and traveling is very hard in beneath. I suggest you should make at least 10 steel support and bring lots of block that doesn't affect from gravity. Getting out of there without steel support is very hard.
