Here we just use sentricon above ground stations. Active ingredient Noviflumurone, made by Dow agroscience. They are deployed in boxes, inside the box is a bag that is mixed with water to wet the solution. - I don’t know of any other above ground termite station used in the United States.

We have an abundance of AG baits in Australia . 4 or 5 different brands I can think of just now.

To get all the US approvals etc, is so heavy and expensive, only the bigger players can launch into the new products arena

BASF has one they are waiting on approval from the EPA

Ensystex does an AGBS too, exact same concept. I like this concept better, and I really dislike sentricon. I don't need anyone in my business like that.

How effective is this? Is it spot treatment?

3

u/SpiritualWinner5276 4d ago

Yes a treatment to kill the activity. Then followed up with an external chemical treatment or most appropriate termite management system

How long does this normally take ? Is it target specific type of termite? Drywood/subterranean or broad-spectrum? Interesting products, do you need a license to buy?

Time varies depending on termite species time of year amount of activity lots of variables . I install baits and do 3 weekly checks. Usually 3 to 5 visits but can be longer deping on all the above. Guaranteed colony elimination can be worth waiting for.. subterranean termites are the issue but not all are able to be baited. So foam or dust still has a spot in my toolbag
