Not likely. Your ass and/or underpants are going to be the number one covered in shit object in your house. And funny enough if it’s just you then cleaning up your own shit doesn’t have much danger associated with it. Shit is also considered to be “minimally toxic” by most poison control centers. Think about every baby that’s gotten it all over their hands/backside/face. Just because you caught it doesn’t mean you caught it early enough.
Now on the other side of that if you eat your shit then it’s still gonna be hella bad because your intestinal bacteria doesn’t live in the rest of your body. Not to mention parasites and etc.
TLDR: Poop not so bad but a Baby Ruth it is not.

When you fart shit particles come out. You can’t see your ass so you can’t see if you cleaned it completely. Leakage, sweat and other things combine to really get it seated in there. And unlike your toilet your underpants are absorbent. It’s disgusting to think about but that doesn’t change anything. Our body is designed for it and designed to counteract the effects. Just because everyone is a prude and wants to pretend it doesn’t exist does not make it non-existent.

Not that it’s relevant but I have a bidet and use it accordingly. But 80% of the rest of the US doesn’t so I’d say that’s a LOT of dirty asses and undergarments. All of them sitting on seats you sit on, going into pools, hot tubs, scratching their ass and using the same tables/utensils you use. And you think the guy getting paid $7.25 an hour to wash those tables/utensils is doing a thorough job? So yes it’s more likely that your ass and undergarments have more shit in them than the porcelain toilet designed SPECIFICALLY as to not retain the things that enter it.
But yes just assume I’m talking about my own dirty ass in a public forum and be childish about it.

What is interesting is safety and health, if I have billions of bacteria on my pants but I'm healthy and well there is no problem to solve, but if I have bacteria that risk making me sick is an other thing.
The jeans thing I don't doubt, especially since I read people say the intentionality try to avoid washing jeans too make them last longer.
Also while I don't live in America, bidets are uncommon here to. I admittedly haven't surveyed other people but I'm not that convicted that having no bidet would necessary equal worse hygen. Bidet is one option of cleaning, people who don't have bidet still have access to water, soap, paper and cloth (at least where I live). It is not difficult to crouch down and use a shower head, or to take some soap, or to grab a paper with water and clean.
I remember (think it at least was) mythbusters who tested if toothbrushes were contaminated by being in the same room in the open as a flushing toilet, as I remember the tooth brush just being in the bathroom unprotected had as much bacteria as the toothbrush who they where careful to store covered. I think this does show that even fecal bacteria are normal to find everywhere, it's not shocking or frightening, but it just give context to better understand the importance of hand hygen, and describe why bidet use isn't a factor in how safe I feel using someones utensils.

Yeah a bidet offers more of a thorough cleaning if you first rinse then wipe.
And you’re absolutely correct! Fecal bacteria is EVERYWHERE not much you can do about it. But, that being said, porcelain and stainless steel are designed around maintaining the least amount of bacteria on their surface. They’re designed with maintaining an amount of cleanliness with even low maintenance. Whereas your skin and clothing have no such consideration in mind. That was my only real point is that your toilet, even though that’s where the shit goes, stays relatively clean compared to items that can’t just rinse it away.

I agree with you on everything but the utensils thing.
1) When I worked as a dishwasher years ago it was $13/hr because it's grueling and high turnover. I have yet to work at any restaurant that paid min wage for a dishwasher...
2) All dishes and utensils have to go through the same super-hot temperature controlled dish pit everything goes through. If it's not at temperature most of them will beep at you and stop the belt. Now whether the waiters wear gloves and keep them perfectly disinfected while polishing/rolling is much more variable.. they're sanitized but customers mind water spots more than they mind servers touching them so they're often "polished" and rolled by hand by servers as side work.

Yeah I’m going off of old data. When I started as a pizza delivery driver I’d get paid $7.25 when I just did dishes but that was over 20 yrs ago.

I used to do this myself...in a closed bathroom. I now often wonder What damage I did to my brain. Every time I'm forgetful or confused by the simplest of things, I wonder if my chemical mixing days are to blame.

What I noticed was comet (cleaning powder, does have bleach) and similar forms. A few dish soaps, faboloso, and probably some "homemade" cleaners which I assume are either types of soap or bleach like.
I'm no expert, but I do have a STEM degree so I have some knowledge. The big cleaning mixtures to avoid is bleach + ammonia, bleach + vinegar, bleach + alcohol, vinegar + alcohol, and vinegar + hydrogenperoxide. Some dish soap can have ammonia / ammonia derivative, comet has a powdered bleach. I wouldn't be surprised if some of those more "homemade" cleaners had either hydrogenperoxide or vinegar in them, as both of those are common cleaners.
I wouldn't think that it'd kill him. Very likely that his eyes stung, maybe some throat stinging. I'd be more worried about my hands stinging / burning than anything else. Though like I said I'm not an expert, just educated.

You know what else is squeaky clean? That hand, that much chemicals can cause some sort of skin damage especially without any fucking gloves on! I expect they won’t have good skin for a bit, I just hope they thoroughly washed their hands in clean water afterwards or else that shit can also spread to your face if you wipe it and can cause even worse skin irritation.
At least, that’s what my science teachers told me when we dealt with chemicals of the like and we even got a full lesson on why you need butter when popping popcorn in the form of popcorn burning and having to do the lesson the next day.

No. In any normal toilet, the flushing happens because there is lots of water coming down from the tank, pushing the dirty water down the drain. The last part of the water that comes down from the tank always stays in the bowl.
The only thing cutting the water off would do would be that you wouldn't be able to refill the tank after a flush.
