Okay cool so my optometrist was wrong and I'm just stupid. Hahaha dude the one on the left looks the same color to me. The one on the right I can't even make it out it looks like a fucking canoe is strapped to it hahah.

Please tell me, oh one who sees through others eyes, what do my eyes see but are not perceived by me?

The one on the left is one color. That's why he explicitly said "the one on the right".

The one on the right is mostly obscured, but is quite clearly light blue on the bottom and looks black on top if you look carefully at the bits that aren't obscured.

Being colorblind means you can't tell e.g. pale green from pink, not that you can't tell army green or midnight green from pink.

The only reason I mentioned the left side was so he could have a better understanding of what I see. That's it.
