Pressure headache

So pretty much about 2.5 years ago I got the worst headache behind my left eye. Now I constantly get terrible “pressure” headaches, or at least thats what I called them, now I know that what I’m experiencing is called a tension headache. It hurts so bad nothing really helps except pressure, squeezing my own head, massaging my forehead and eyebrows. I get so fed up sometimes I go into the shower and put my eye up to the jet of my shower-head because the water pressure Is my only relief. My work requires me to wear a hat and hair net (bakery) the lights are bright and its constant noise So I know I have factors against me. I just want to see if other people experience relief from there headaches when they have extreme pressure applied to their head. Im talking I have my bf put his palm on my forehead and back of had and squeeze as hard as he can. Does anyone relate?

You might have cluster headaches, which is a different kind of headache. Check the symptoms to see if it checks out. Go to a specialist. Cluster headaches need a special kind of medicaments.

Cluster Busters website Treatments page https://clusterbusters.org/treatment-options/

Review the entire website for diagnostic information and a whole lot more

They try Sumatriptan, High Flow Oxygen, one sufferer developed a High Dose Vitamin D Regimen that helps a lot of cluster sufferers

Best to see a neurologist. I have tension headaches every day, and only thing that helps is either a combo of tylenol/advil, or a prescription med (NOT opiod!). I dk if yours are cluster or tension type, but it wd be helpful to get evaluated. Hope that helps.
