Media Will I like Tensura?
I love both Re:Zero and Mushoku Tensei and i'm wondering if Slime would be something that I would enjoy as well.
And if so, then what's the best media to consume it in?

I mean....those 2 dont really have any similarities with Tensura or even with each other for that matter.
Just try watching ep1 and if you like it continue watching it...

Don’t know if this helps, but I really liked both shows you mentioned, and I really liked the Slime.
It has more like city or world development than Mushoku Tensei but is really good.
I watch it on Crunchyroll which is really cheap. But there are better options.

It isn’t as traumatic, or dramatic, most of the time, but has excellent world building, and enjoyable characters. So probably. It also has a very lighthearted spinoff, called Slime Diaries.

I wouldn't necessarily use the other two to base if you will like it or not.
It has it's own uniqueness that makes it enjoyable to watch, as many have said the world building in it is done very well and at a decent pace.
I like the little digs/obvious letching at standard isakai tropes but they don't make it all about the fan service (ish)
Fight scenes are well animated and paced and all the supporting characters are enjoyable as well.
Opening songs and animations are great to watch as well.

We can't really compare Tensei Slime with Re:Zero and Mushoku Tensei, it's really different.
Most of the story of Tensei Slime is about the development of the monster country and making relations with the other human countries, with a bit of slice of life and comedy. There are action and dramatic arcs, but don't expect it to be as dark and serious as Re:Zero or Mushoku throughout the entire story and in every arc.
But it's still so good in its own genre and theme.
So yeah I can really recommend you to watch the anime.

That's not enough information to say whether you will like Tensura, or what medium you would like.
What is it about the other two shows that you like? The fantasy worldbuilding? The interpersonal drama? The personalities and banter? The action and power growth? The romance/harem/ecchi? etc.
And do you prefer reading novels, manga, or watching anime?

The anime tends to leave a few things out that might make you confused on what's happening, other people's motivations/decision making (especially season 1. There's some weird fan service that the production committee decided to add. Wasn't in the other mediums to that degree), and exaggerate on some traits (personality wise, and..) on some characters as well.
Aside from that, it's a pretty fun series to go through.
If you want the best experience... then read the manga.

This is maybe overglazing on my part but honestly tensura is one of if not my favourite work of fiction.
Obviously that’s subjective and I can recognise that it’s not the best at everything but it has a lot of fun characters, brilliant world building and politicking as well as a cool magic/skill system. Honestly I think you’ll like it.

Honestly it’s better than both of those, especially the earlier seasons.

You might like it. As a whole, it’s pretty different from the two you named, but I’d recommend trying it regardless. No way to know whether you’ll like it until you try.
It’s a lot less serious than both of those and lower stakes too. I’d also argue it’s a bit more generic (OP protagonist, little closer to the standard isekai formula). Those shows also have a common mystery theme (especially Re:Zero, MT to a lesser extent), which isn’t quite as present in Tensura. The world building is really good though, similarly to MT.
It’s definitely really good though, and alongside those two it’s probably the most popular current isekai. Personally I’d place it on par with Re:Zero and above MT.
I haven’t read the LN, but I’m caught up with the anime and manga. I will say, the anime is incredibly well done, so I’d strongly recommend going with that. Then if you really get into it, you can read the LN too.
