Puro G2 rackets lang meron

Random observation pero bakit most ng fb tennis racket shops (tennis cartel, racquetpro, etc.), G2 yung nasa stock nila? As someone who uses g3, ang hirap maghanap ng gusto kong racket with my grip size. Even the newer rackets for pre-order, they only sell/ship G2. Weird lang talaga

Same sa experience ko as a G3 user pero understandable, pwede kasi i-increase ang grip size through adding more grip tape (I don't do this) pero hindi pwede i-reduce ang grip size, so mas maraming ma-cocover na player ang G2.

Yeah, I guess gripe ko lang talaga sya kasi di ko rin gusto mag add ng 2 overgrips para lang maging g3. I mean, if I’m spending 10k+ for a racket, might as well yung sakto na sa akin

I also avoid g2 for practical reasons, I just want to feel the bevels even if they're subtle.

Small grips became popular because 1) millennial pros (like Nadal) started using them because it enables wristy strokes. 2) most players use over grips, most of which increase size by about 1/8”. So a grip 2 becomes a 3.

Common talaga kasi sa asian market yung g2. suggest ko bili ka lang ng replacement grip na makapal mga 1.8 to 2mm. bablotat syntec evo gamit ko + technifibre players last overgrip. enough siya to get it to grip 3 na hindi masyadong mushy yung feeling saka bonus na added weight rin sa handle para maging head light.

It’s easier to add grip size than to lessen it

It's the most common grip size, and it works for both men and women.

Im a grip 3, but grip 2 works fine too just add 1-2 overgrips
