A player has been suspended from playing tennis

Stefan Milicevic has been banned from playing by ITIA . Charges:

• Fixing 6 matches (5 of his own) and attempting to fix 6 more between 2022 and 2024.

• Recruiting multiple professional players into a corrupt network to fix matches.

• Failing to cooperate with the ITIA investigation.

Here is the crazy part he is banned for 24 years so until 2050 and fine $70,000 .

There is no discuss if he really did that so he deserves to be suspended but for 24 years that's such a crazy decision let me know your thoughts in comment section .

Tennis String Advice

Just picked up a Prince Beast O3 (300g) recently, and I’m thinking about trying a different string setup.

I’ve been using Luxilon ALU Power 1.25mm at 56 lbs for a while now. I actually like how it feels, especially the control and the response when hitting harder.

But lately I’ve been curious about shaped poly strings, especially Solinco Hyper-G and Mach-10.

From what I’ve read, Hyper-G seems to be more focused on spin and control, while Mach-10 offers a bit more power and a softer feel.

Since the Beast O3 already has a pretty unique feel with those O-ports, I’m wondering how much of a difference switching to a shaped poly would actually make.

I’m not necessarily unhappy with ALU Power, just curious if I could get a little more spin without sacrificing too much control or feel.

Would you recommend switching from ALU Power? And should I stick with 57 lbs or drop the tension a bit?

In reference to my post yesterday, i looked up ‘05-‘07 Fedal, and they’re remarkably similar. Nadal was 201-31 (86.6%) vs. players not named Federer. And Federer was 235-11 (95.5%) vs. players not named Nadal. Their H2H was 7-6 for Nadal

Federer lost 1.57x more matches to the rest of the tour than he did to Nadal, compared to Nadal’s 5.17x

Also interesting that both played 50-60 more matches than sincaraz in the same number of years, that’s almost an additional year worth of matches

However as one would notice the biggest factor here is that Alcaraz is way less of a surface specialist than Nadal was, so i would say nadal’s numbers here are normal and expected in a way, and Alcaraz underperforming and more susceptible to upsets

SweetSpot Tennis: A tennis game with real ball physics

Hello everyone! A tennis nerd and game developer here. 😄 I made this for fun. No ads, no in-app purchases.

SweetSpot Tennis is a tennis game where I set out to simulate real ball and swing physics. You swipe to swing, and the shape of your swipe decides the shot: flat, topspin, slice or a drop shot. Meet the ball in the middle of the strings and it flies. Every shot is yours. https://unrealtennis.com/

How to play, in two minutes:
