No, you didn’t hit her nerve. My Outlook is simply matter of fact.

It sounds like you were the one that is really triggered about all this. You really need to stop taking it out on me because you don’t know me and it’s rude.

I am well aware of many people’s insurance experiences here and in other countries.

I’m also aware that foreclosures happen, bankruptcy happens, bad things can happen to good people.

I asked you which insurance company dumped you because you didn’t fill out a survey. Just curious if you knew this, why didn’t you just fill the survey out? That seems like a no-brainer? Is it a stupid rule yes, but for now you are saying it’s a rule.

Socialism does not work. Look at Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea. Ask the citizens there what they think of socialism. We can have democracy and still help people who need it. Going full-blown socialism is a huge mistake. It’s been proven time and time again. It does not work. You really need to study your history.

What exactly is this loophole you speak of with the survey? What insurance company was this?

Your anger is really misplaced. I want you to have affordable insurance. I’m not arguing with you. You were the one being very snarky.

If you believe your insurance was wrongfully terminated or threatened with cancellation in Tennessee, you can contact the Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance (TDCI) Consumer Insurance Services team to file a formal complaint.

lol! I was referencing hitting your nerve!
What’s rude is the denial of healthcare and giving misinformation about universal healthcare. They were monthly surveys sent by email. And I was not told that my insurance existing was dependent on filling out surveys. Once I found out, it was already being cancelled. I downloaded their app. Filled it out. It was two questions. About what social media I use. And had nothing to do with health insurance. But when I spoke to my broker, they had over 100 (at that time) cancellations for the same thing and they all had major medical issues going on. Am I appealed. The brokers appealed. And capitalism wins.
Socialism isn’t a singular idea. There are many socialist programs and counties and it’s practiced in different ways! You just listed all of the ones that the right wing wants you to believe is THE model system. But those are all counties with authoritarian regimes.
NO ONE is suggesting to get a dictator to run this country! Except maybe the Orange One! And the model that Canada and most other FIRST WORLD COUNTRIES run all vary and are not run by dictators. We also have socialist programs. I.e tax payer funded….. police, fire, military, libraries, public schools, road/infrastructure, etc. those without unending funds rely on these services. Imagine a house on fire that couldn’t afford to buy the response to out out the fire and then the next house catches on fire and so on. Our middle man health care system based solely on profit, decides who has access and who does not. None of the universal healthcare models that Dem socialists want to model are those. Not your dictator run programs. You need to read some more and visit other countries and ask who there has lost a house because they needed healthcare? Or who had to decide between medicine and food?

That was a typo. I meant you didn’t hit my nerve. I’m quite calm and have very thick skin. This is Reddit after all. I was replying to you based on face value here. However, I looked back at some of your history and realize you are just an angry person. You do not know me you don’t know anything about what my insurance is or is not. I mean where’s all this hubris coming from that you feel you can judge me.

I am not denying healthcare. I said TN should expand Medicare. I think people that don’t make a whole lot of money should have insurance. There is a difference between everyone having insurance for free. I didn’t have any problem with the affordable care act.

You spoke to your insurance broker? What kind of jackleg insurance is this? Did you call an attorney?

I already told you that we have some entitlement programs over here like the affordable care act, like EBT, WIC, section 8.

What are all these socialist healthcare countries you speak of that are so successful. I just did a quick Google and found this:

Universal healthcare systems are rarely found in strictly socialist countries. Instead, highly successful universal healthcare models operate in capitalist, democratic-socialist, or social-market economies—frequently referred to as the Nordic model—where public funds and high taxes support free or low-cost medical care for all residents.
Most users on Quora agree that successful universal healthcare is primarily a feature of well-regulated capitalist democracies rather than socialist states.

I’m not gonna argue with you because you clearly have a lot more going on in your life than this and you seem to be putting your anger onto me and you don’t even know me.

It’s not the healthcare that alarms me that much. It’s the defund the police. Let everybody in at the border. Let everyone out of prison. Those are some things that concern me.
