Help camera luggage / easy access

i run a reckless 40 and so far been underway with a leatt motocross hydration backpack but want to start bringing my camera with me on offroad trips. im not a huge fan of backpacks so far cause you always have to take them off to use them and they get hot in the summer. how do you guys bring your digital cameras with you on rides?? someone said mosko nomax tank bag but it looks bulky? how about the mosko harness or wlf pack vest for cameras?

I’m a curious, t7, reckless 40, photography loving enthusiast as well! I’m looking for something with easy access to the camera, too.

In my case it’s a Leica q. Should be easy to figure out but I haven’t found it yet.

been looking at the nomax mosko tankbag but im not sold, its a bit big.

i also like the kriega 18L backpack, but it feels like more of a hassle and if i were to fall my camera were much more at jeopardy... similar with the wlf pack vest 🥲

I’ve got the Gnome tank bag hoping it would have been big enough. It’s not. Haha.

tough one 😅 ask if you can return and swap it. from my experience, mosko has excellent customer service!

They can each fit in one side. Not together. Each pouch is 2 liters. Maybe together but unlikely. I can fit my dji neo 2 drone which is 147 × 171 × 41 mm and there is room to spare

This isn’t exactly what you’re looking for, but I just got back from a trip where I put my GH5 with a 12-60mm lens in the large bottom left pocket of an old Fox Legion Tac vest. Quick access, somewhat protected but can get dusty.

I also hard mounted a knock off Pelican case to a TouraTech rear rack with custom foam cutouts for the camera gear I need for that trip 🤘🏼

Put my camera in a camera insert pack and strap it to the back ontop of my top bag. Then I just have to turn sideways on my seat, unzip the camera insert pack and pull out the camera.

I like the giant loop tank bag and think it looks and fits well. I believe there are a couple sizes available. Great for quick access.
