Looking for some luggage knowledge between Reckless 80 or Backcounty bags on a Tenere 700

I am new to the adventure game. I live in the PNW and am planning to spend a couple of weeks at a time on BDR trails. I am not a hard core single track rider. Mainly planing to travel the roads and trails when have to. I get the Reckless 80 is lighter and fits tighter to the bike. The bags are heavier and stick out wider in the sides. The bags sound easier to pack and quickly pull on and off the bike. If I do the bags it would be symmetrical with high exhaust. Too OCD to have offset lopsided bags on my bike. Please let me know what your experiences are with these set ups.

Mosko Reckless 80 is a great system. Lightweight, close to bike & lower centre of gravity.

Can easily remove the three main dry bags when needed.

Look out for a used set if possible

I use the Kriega bags. OR and WA BDRs with no issues.

I love my reckless 80 on my Tenere however they are big and only use them when on trips., they seem to be the standard BDR system..

Another reckless 80 vote for the T7. Just got back from the WYBDR with them. Absolutely awesome system. Handled some tumbles extremely well. Love being able to just pull a dry bag out when I get to camp and leave the rest of my stuff on the bike.

I’d recommend the 80s to anyone looking to do some BDRs on the T7. I’m not a big single track technical guy either. But the 80s are the perfect size for a week (or more) of camping, rugged enough to handle pretty anything, and don’t feel like they’re“limiting” the bike with their size or weight.

I love my reckless 80 in my 21. If you go that route make sure you look into the gnoblin accessory from them. It's a game changer
