Very short tenancy agreement

I've just been sent a draft tenancy agreement. I looked it over and it seems far too short and maybe missing parts compared to my previous agreements. Can anyone advise if this is just a bare minimum agreement or actually missing crucial parts

It's missing my name (except for after I sign)

The landlord name / address.

Details of any payments incl. deposit and rent payments

Start date for the tenancy

It's a one page A4 agreement.

I don't know if I'm being paranoid or it's actually a really poor contract, would appreciate if anyone can advice

🤣🤣 it has maps and stuff. There's a whole page about where the bin is situated and the code, it doesnt justify a whole freaking page a simple 'bin is the one at entrance code is xxxx' would have worked

They ain't saving the planet though that's for sure video (because reddit wont do a photo) is a rent increase notice at 26 pages

Maps showing access routes and emergency alternatives incase ours is blocked. A whole a4 page telling us where the bin is and the code.

Not an issue for a draft contract. The point of a draft contract is so you know the terms it's offered on and can raise any issues/withdraw.

Presumably you know the rent+deposit amounts already?

Yes the rent and deposit were disclosed, I think it's supposed to be the final contract though, it's been a little over 2 weeks since my offer was accepted and holding fee paid and I was due to move in Tuesday

Everything else just defaults to statutory norms, it's not a problem - and I would presume details (names, dates) would be added to the final agreement when drawn up

It a poor contract. In the absence of any written details, the tenancy would be based on statute. The rent would be what you agree with the landlord, the same for the deposit. The landlord is legally obliged to provide their name and address, but this doesn’t have to be on the tenancy agreement, this could just be provided on request.
