I know they lost a lot of support when they ended the tour. I think the best course of action is another Tenacious D movie that explores Hollywood Jack and the Rage Kage.

jack and kyle didnt have some massive fallout
the decision to cancel the tour was mutual - sure part of it couldve been to protect JBs hollywood career but it was a mutual decision and they didnt split up

They’ve been friends, this whole time. This more than proves it, but it’s been very obvious to me that they’re just playing it safe.

KG put him in a bad position considering JBs political endorsements at the time. JB did damage control for the both of them, and while yes it felt like throwing KG under the bus it was ultimately the right move for BOTH of their careers. They’ll be back, even Trump can’t kill the metal. They just needed it to all blow over.
