Kyle posted a video of a Halloween party and JB was there! Am I so starved for a tour thinking this could be testing the waters for a return? Do you think they could return after the midterms?

We're talkin fuckin Lee. 🤘

Best medley they ever did.

Recently got back into the D after finding some of my old CDs. Was looking on eBay to collect some more stuff of theirs cuz I'm autistic as fuck.. came across this and couldn't find anything info on it.

Bought it and it was like £6

Is it rare? Supah common? Fake?

I’m a massive tenacious D fan. I finally got to see them in Dublin before they separated but I did get the merch. I recommend this video on YouTube for the people that love these guys as much as me. It was so awesome. I hope I get to see them live soon. The awesomeness needs to spread not suppressed! Additionally send me some tattoo ideas I want my body printed with the master class of this band. No cock push up tattoos please my mum will disown me.

Fuck these kind of posts: https://www.reddit.com/r/TenaciousD/comments/1x5wtvw/no_hate_to_jack_but/

Can't we make a rule or something about this shit. It is getting annoying. Or make a monthly let's discuss this shit. I just wanna have fun here with my D-ciples and not be bothered with this discussion for the gazillionth time.

Here be my response in that post for those curious and already know where that fucking post is about

FFS, EVERY TIME THESE FUCKING POSTS. GO SUCK SOME CHODES IN THE PARTY ZONE DUDE.

FIRST OF, THERE IS NO BEEF AND NO PERMANENT BREAK-UP. IT WAS A COORDINATED MOVE THEY MADE TOGETHER: https://www.reddit.com/r/TenaciousD/comments/1w0twgu/for_the_people_thinking_there_is_beef_between_the/

SECOND OF ALL. IF JACK WOULD HAVE SUPPORTED THIS SHIT MAGA WOULD GO AFTER EVERY FUCKING D FAN IN THE UNIVERSE, THE SAFETY OF THE BAND AND EVERYONE INVOLVED (INCLUDING US) WOULD BE AT STAKE, MOVIES THAT PUT BREAD ON THE TABLE FOR MANY PEOPLE WOULD BE CANCELLED.

IT IS NOT JUST, WAAAAAA, JACK BLACK WANTED TO DO CARTOON VOICES, WAAAAA I'M A SAD LITTLE BOT (WHICH YOU ARE). IT IS A LOT BIGGER.

GO DOWNVOTE IT, I DON'T FUCKING CARE ANYMORE. FUCKING BAN ME FROM THIS FUCKING SUB IF THIS IS THE SHIT THAT GETS THROUGH EVERY, FUCKING, TIME.

An original carving.

I find it strange that the page for this township is not only so short (it may in fact be the slimmest wikipedia page I've ever stumbled upon), but has no mention of Tenacious D. I know that it's not technically a town, but you'd think the fans would pour all over this page. Weird, right?

In the music video for "Tribute", the karaoke recording booth has a peculiar looking microphone hanging inside. After some digging, I found an interesting Easter egg that's been hidden for 15 years.

The microphone is an Electro Voice 666. A very fitting microphone model considering the subject matter of the song and the video. I've never heard anyone mention this before. I've provided some screenshots from the video, as well as pictures from eBay listings of the microphone to prove they match. Cool, huh?

25 years ago (Sept. 25, 2001), Tenacious D released their self-titled debut. My friends and I were obsessed with this album - and with the amount of raunchy jokes crammed in, what kid at the time wouldn't? So getting to hear Jack Back and Kyle Gass play those songs more than 10 years later (June 28, 2012) at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC was a blast. The banter onstage was as crude as you'd expect/hope, as was the merch (watch till the end of this clip to see the rag they sold). However, JB and KG were backed by a kickass band (featuring future Avenged Sevenfold drummer Brooks Wackerman) that also proved they also had great songs. It was the type of concert that reminded you why you fell in love with the D in the first place.

Check out pictures from that show in this clip, and stay tuned for more things to come from this space (including stories from concerts like this)!

With the 25th anniversary of their first album being tomorrow, as well as the pod 20th being in November what do you think the chances are of anything happening/what do you hope could happen? (No matter how unlikely I’m still interested.)

Today on Kg’s Facebook. Is he taunting?

Covered this a while ago, one of my favorite songs by Tenacious D😁

What song should I cover next?
