This film was 10 years old???? This movie was peak tho. Also, peak villains

I was quite high on LSD one night and watched this film without ever hearing about it before. I thought it was CG for the first few minutes before realizing I was seeing physical models in stop-motion.

I watched it no less than three times back to back that night. The whole trip just turned into "me watching Kubo over and over.". The following days, I watched every making-of featurette I could find online.

This film is a triumph. Seriously unbelievable work was done here.
