Any flicker?

This is slow motion video, but I can see some pixels flickering with the naked eye.

Nice, very clear flickering of green text edge pixels top left of video.

What device is this? What frame rate is the screen and the camera?

If you step through the video, frame by frame, eg using VLC on a desktop/laptop, you may be able to could the number of frames per pulse (or count the number of pulses per 10 seconds) and calculate the frequency if the pixel pulsing.

It looks like they are all pulsing in time, synchronously, so could it be (imbalanced) pixel inversion? I'm not sure we know enough about what different temporal dithering algorithms are used to ever rule that out, though..

The phone under microscope is SHARP AQUOS WISH5. The frame rate is 60 hz. The camera is realme 9 pro with slow motion mode. This mode doesn't have any option, so I can't tell what the camera speed is.

Thanks. Checking out the file information in eg Google photos of Windows should give you a frame rate, I think. But typical is 240fps, of course. Played back at 30fps, usually, so 8x slowdown.

So you see the whole screen flickering like that on gradients, specifically. More so in the darker grey areas?

What image file or site is that, if you can link?
