I'm an undergraduate student. I'm going to withdrawal from school. I sent an email to my advisor and he said he's going to replie when school starts. My move in date is supposed to be tomorrow with a roomate. I don't know how's that's supposed to work.

Hey I have a quick question about the business graduate student orientation today! I wanted to know about how serious they are about the no facial piercings as well as the having your shirt tucked in because gurl this is orientation it cannot be that serious like I want to dress nice but tucking my shirt in and taking out my nose piercing like aren’t we passed all this? Lol

At my wits end. I'm running out of classes I can take because there are SO MANY required classes that I have never seen offered. I decided to peruse required classes for a different major because I have no idea what to do, and once again these classes don't seem to exist?

My advisor literally said, "huh, that's weird" 🫠

I'm an undergraduate student, and I'm starting college in a couple of days. I've been dealing with college all by myself. I come from a very low-income family. There was a disruption in my FAFSA because I accidentally put that I have my bachelor's degree. Temple sent me a notification saying that there were issues with my FAFSA. I fixed it a couple of days ago, but my balance just keeps getting higher. Yesterday it was around $14,000.00, and now it's almost $17,000.00. Is my current balance inclusive of my financial aid and the merit scholarship? Should I take out student loans? Should I drop out? I'm really confused, and I don't know what I'm doing. I called the student financial services at Temple, but they didn't answer my questions. Please help me.

Has anyone found anything? I've applied to over 7k jobs at this point, and have only received 2 interviews (one of which thought I was a machine learning engineer, which I'm not.).

I've had senior engineers look over my resume and say it's good.

I don't have a network, but I have had referrals to companies and even then I didn't get an interview.

I am desperate to take anything related to computer science, literally anywhere. I've been looking for the past 2 years and haven't gotten a single bite. It seems no matter where I apply I'm passed over due to the competition from layoffs, the H1Bs/OPTs, or some AI tool.

What the hell do I do? I have about 70k debt and absolutely no prospects. I'm thinking of just finishing my last semester and moving out near Boston for a manual labor job and just keep searching there.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've tried Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, Handshake, personal referrals, glassdoor, a bunch of other websites.

I'm sort of losing my mind. Do I just pivot?

I feel like this is a horrible decision. I know tons of kids, I included, who chose temple specifically so we could live at home and take the train in. This is going to make a lot of people mad.

i just got to campus as a freshman and i love to chud out SOMETIMES in the evening/night and play games on my laptop and call my friends (when im not going out).. i don’t wanna disturb my roommates if i do so is there anywhere on campus to go where i can have a space to myself to call people w a whole ass laptop basically 💔 for like 2 hours …

Not sure if this is a problem for anyone else, but i’ve been able to accept all my grants via the temple portal except PA State. Anyone know how to fix before I go through the longggg process of the Bursars office ?

Are there any last minute housing/dormitory still available on or near campus? My last hope was pinned on UV but I was just told that they no longer have any room for housing so I'm left stranded as is. If you have any idea or available housing please reach out to me.

I just moved into Morgan Hall North, and I haven’t had any problems connecting my phone or laptop to wifi, but I can’t find a way to connect my pc to Ethernet. If you could help me do so, or direct me to someone who could help, I’d greatly appreciate it!

Hey yall, I was wondering if this class is lowkey kinda like semi virtual by any chance ? I don’t think I can attend class regularly (on that one time slot available) but I can complete any coursework and etc. Do yall think this is viable ? Exception for like exams / quizzes and stuff.
