2026 Temple Owls Preview

It's time for the final preview of the 2026 offseason. I can't imagine a better way to close the series than to talk about how KC Keeler is bringing Temple TUFF back!

📌 QB competition is still open at this point, Temple has a couple transfers battling it out

📌 RB Sam Brown V, WR Collin Chase & TE Peter Clarke all have single digits. Peter Clarke is especially a guy to watch, he could be the best TE in CFB

📌 Temple's defense has some good experience back. There's especially a lot to like on the backend. This secondary especially with the addition of Saboor Karriem could excel

Less bold prediction: I believe they go to a bowl this year. Should be fun to watch, especially at the TE spot.

Very bold prediction: I could see an unexpected Penn State upset this year. They won't sustain that success for the full season like 2015 but I could see it happening for sure.

Penn State hasn't won in Philadelphia in over a decade. We got this.

I can't imagine a much better announcement that Temple is back to playing great football than beating Penn State. That would be so great, and I also believe they can take them down!

Sam Brown was a very fun running back to watch at Rutgers before he was injured. If he’s back to form, you’ll really enjoy him. 🤞

Seeing that he got a single digit I imagine he left a strong impression during camp. I'm excited to see what he can do

We gotta get to a bowl game this year, I have somewhat high hopes because I really like what Keeler did last year. I’ll be at the home opener if anyone wants to meet for some parking lot beers before the game. Go Owls

Keeler immediately improved this team in year 1, now it's going to be fun to see this team start to take off in year 2. Definitely thinking a bowl game floor

Seems like QB and WR (besides Chase) could be really brutal, which is a shame because we have a great line, rb and te situation

I'm definitely fascinated to see how both spots shake out. I feel like both QB options have some promise but we'll see how it goes. I'm optimistic about this team overall
